Our merchants’ designs are gold, and they need serious protection. So we built our own IP Registry – a way for sellers to protect their intellectual property before anything goes wrong. Here's how it works: Sellers officially register their designs or brands by getting a copyright or trademark certificate. They submit these certificates and brand assets to our IP Registry. Once approved, our AI system does the watching and blocks copycats before they ever reach fulfillment. But we didn't stop there. If a copycat design DOES slip through, we’ve integrated an official DMCA Takedown notice that sellers can file directly through us. We review it, block the identified infringing content, and notify the responsible party. Protecting sellers who trust us with their business is part of our commitment to being the best Print-on-Demand platform out there. We give them the tools, so they can focus on selling. “Go broad, then niche down” was reasonable advice a year ago. Now it’s one of the clearest signs a store won’t grow. Across the stores that consistently grow thanks to repeat buyers, word of mouth, and products that sell on launch day, there’s a pattern: they’re built around a specific identity, not a category. “Pet owners" is too broad. Try “dog moms who run marathons.” “Fitness”? Not specific enough. Go with “powerlifters who hate diet culture” instead. This shift is driven by changes in buying behavior. On TikTok Shop and across social commerce, purchase decisions now happen in seconds. The more specific a product feels, the more likely it is to stop the scroll and result in a sale. A tighter niche doesn’t limit the audience. It changes how the audience FEELS about the store: ✔️Products look curated and tied to a specific demand. ✔️Messaging that sounds like it was written for exactly this buyer. ✔️Higher prices feel justified when the catalog looks intentional. Buyers who feel seen come back, recommend you to their friends, and trust your next product before it drops. Last week, we were at TikTok Shop Summit in LA and witnessed discovery commerce at full force. 🛍️ TikTok Shop brought together insiders, brands, and creators to share news about where the platform is heading. The direction is already set. Buying decisions are being made inside content, not after it. No second thoughts. No waiting. A creator posts, an audience buys. 200 print-on-demand items sold LIVE in one hour? April Duplantis, owner of Poppy Rose Print Co. and $2.2M TikTok Shop seller, made that happen at Dallas Sellers Club, showing what’s actually possible. That moment was the highlight of the event we built with one question in mind: How do you reach the level where real money lives? So we brought together our top-performing merchants with leading experts from TikTok Shop and Shopify for hands-on workshops where every attendee left with a concrete 30-day growth plan tailored to their business. Here's what the room actually learned. Kleo Cela has generated $3.1M in Shopify revenue from his own print-on-demand brand and has broken down what drives growth on the platform: margin structure, multi-item order mechanics, and a creative testing process tied to real performance data. Then TikTok's own team reframed the opportunity entirely. TikTok isn't a marketplace where you list and wait. It's a discovery engine where content delivers your product directly into the hands of people who didn't even know they wanted it. One of our speakers, Ryan Schrater, was nearly done with eCommerce before finding his footing on TikTok Shop. Five months later, he’s a Gold Star seller with $500K+ GMV. "Within 40 seconds, they've bought something without ever leaving the app. Nothing can compete with that right now." – Ryan Schrater. Then April went LIVE. If Ryan’s story opened eyes, April’s LIVE session showcased how that level of growth actually happens. "You’re going to be nervous. I was terrified. But nobody’s watching yet – you have room to be bad at it. Go anyway," was her advice for the crowd. As our Head of Content, Laura Želvytė puts it: "We're not just hosting a nice day out.
