  • Are you or your defenders training for a solo journey when responding to a major cyber incident is actually a team expedition? Why train cybersecurity teams in silos? This risks leaving critical skill gaps and weaknesses in workflow exposed. When a real incident hits, you don't fight alone, so why practice alone? RangeForce is the platform that shifts your team from just knowing how to use a tool to mastering incident response as a cohesive unit. What you get: Team Drills & Solo Skills: Realistic, cloud-based exercises that test capabilities and force collaboration against evolving, real-time threats. Real Tools: Practice in high-context environments using real blue team software (Splunk, Palo Alto, Crowdstrike etc.). Deep Insights: Go beyond assessing an individual's knowledge to measure your team's collective Collaboration, Workflow, and Resilience. How ready are you for your next major incident? Find out what your teams are truly capable of, all without burning their time or your budget. ➡️ Watch the video to see how RangeForce helps build high-performing, incident-ready defensive teams. #CyberSecurity #CyberTraining #IncidentResponse #TeamReadiness #RangeForce #InfoSec #CyberRange

  • Today, we are excited to announce our acquisition by Cyberbit  This creates an international organization of significant scale and capability - bringing our goal of democratizing the cyber range even closer.  As we watch range hours rocket, it’s clear businesses are waking up to the fact that defensive readiness means more than solo skills. It means interlocking technical abilities, soft skills and processes in exercises. To put it simply, more defensive teams are realizing that the first time they face an attack as a team, shouldn’t be the first time.  By bringing together market-leading people and platforms, we will continue to equip organizations with:     🔵 A bigger, broader, catalogue of team exercises   🧪 More choice of solo skills labs  ✅ Greater customer focus 💻 Platform upgrades - more tools, easier range access, AI innovation and more We can’t wait to see our customers unlocking more value than ever in how they prepare teams for major cyber incidents. • Want to drill your blue team's triage skills in a de-risked environment - but don't have the time to set up a range? It's OK. We also believe testing triage shouldn't be testing. That's the whole point of our new Team Exercise UI: 1️⃣ Pick an attack narrative 2️⃣ Choose a time and date 3️⃣ Pick an XDR, Firewall and SIEM 4️⃣ Assign team members 🟦 Watch your blue team go 🟦 Try it for free https://lnkd.in/eeYzzJxp

Another successful and informative day using RangeForce. Today I completed the Threat Intelligence course. I learned about IoCs, Traffic Light Protocol and was introduced to the basics in using MISP. Since starting using Range Force this semester I have learned so much and be exposed to several tools, such as Splunk, Wazuh, theHive. Thanks to Cybersecurity Nexus Program for providing this valuable tool that is enhancing the theory aspects of our studies.

  • Exercise your defenders with other teams to get:  🟥 Adversarial learning from Red Teams  💾 Infrastructure skills from the IT team 🪲 Vulnerability management abilities from Software Engineers  Not only this, but:    Relationships are strengthened  Reporting lines tested  Roles defined  Processes put to the sword More often than not, however, you don't.  Why?  Because you think it’s hard to build a scenario, spec the test environment and organise diaries. Not to mention expensive. 👏 It 👏 doesn’t 👏 have 👏 to 👏 be 👏 https://lnkd.in/d5Vb7fVf

  • Adding more people isn't enough to secure your organization. The real key is having the right people in the right roles. Empowering not just individuals but teams with precise human capabilities to tackle today's sophisticated cyber threats. We're teaming up with SANS Institute and Cyberstar on this Carahsoft webinar, CPE credits are available and you can sign up from the link in the comments. #cybersecurity #leadership #readiness
