There's a lot of controversy around CVEs these days: do we still need CVEs? Is CVSS still useful? Is NVD authoritative? We've seen attempts in the past to displace CVE (anyone remember DWF?) and they've never really gotten traction, but that doesn't mean we still need CVE, does it?
