We are pleased to announce the successful completion of €85 million in new funding to further support our mission of changing mobility for good, together! This new funding, comprising a €70 million Nordic bond issue and a €15 million Series D extension, marks a major milestone in our growth journey. It will notably be used to support the purchase of new e-scooters and e-bikes that have already started rolling out in the streets of Paris. Since the completion of the merger between TIER and Dott in 2024, the company has successfully integrated operations, becoming one of the leading micromobility operators in EMEA, active in 400+ cities across 21 countries. Through this integration, we have continued scaling sustainable mobility services across Europe and the Middle East. This new funding reinforces our commitment to making sustainable and affordable mobility a reality for everyone, everywhere. A very special moment as we celebrate our 7-year anniversary this month! Every €1 invested in bike sharing brings a 10% annual return to society. How? Through benefits like: ⛑️ Better health outcomes 🚦 Reduced congestion 💚 Cleaner air and lower emissions 🏙️ More accessible and liveable cities These are the findings of a new study commissioned by Cycling Industries Europe and EIT Urban Mobility, supported by the Bike Share Expert Group (BSEG), unveiled today. And the potential goes far beyond that: ➡️ By 2030, this return could rise to 75% per year — if the European Commission, Member States, cities and regions strengthen their support for the sector. Beyond the numbers, the report provides clear policy recommendations for the European Commission and for cities to continue developing bike sharing as a key enabler of sustainable urban mobility. Dott and pony win the shared micromobility tender in Bordeaux. Each operator is permitted to deploy 1,000 e-bikes and 1,000 e-scooters as of November 1st. This differs from Bordeaux’s previous arrangement which licensed e-bike and e-scooter operators separately. “Providing an e-bike fleet on top of our e-scooter fleet will enable us to better dispatch our service in the whole metropolis, better complement the transport network, and reach new users,” Dott’s Chief Business Officer Nicolas Gorse told Zag Daily.
