Canada Roadshow April 2026: From Satellite Data to Operational Decisions The data from our recent webinar was clear: 2026 is a year of extremes for Canadian watersheds. We are seeing a "Tale of Two Watersheds" where Southern drought risks and Northern surplus accumulation are happening simultaneously. Relying on a single provincial median or a lone valley-bottom snow station is no longer enough to manage this level of volatility. This month, the Wegaw team is hitting the road to meet with hydro operators and water managers across the country. We want to sit down with your technical teams to show how moving from coarse 2.5km estimations to 100m-resolution satellite intelligence can reduce your inflow forecasting uncertainty for the 2026 spring melt. We are going to be in: 🏙️ Québec: Tuesday 21/04 & Wednesday 22/04 🏦 Toronto: Wednesday 22/04 & Thursday 23/04 🌾 Manitoba / Saskatchewan / Nova Scotia: Friday 24/04 🏔️ British Columbia: Monday 27/04 & Tuesday 28/04 🛢️ Alberta: Wednesday 29/04 Slots are limited in each city. If you’d like to see a deep dive into how our satellite-to-stack insights can optimize your specific asset management and O&M scheduling, let’s connect. 📩 DM us or reach out to Ion Padilla and Daria Ludtke to book a session.

Our team is on the ground in Canada next month. Daria Ludtke just shared the technical highlights of what we'll be covering with Metro Vancouver. Catch the webinar here! 👇
I’ve been looking at the snow data for the 2026 melt season, and the "split" across Canada is wild to see. While some northern regions are facing surplus risks, southern BC is seeing record-low snowpacks, with some even lower than the 2024/2025 season. If you're managing water or power, these stats translate directly into a pretty difficult May and June from an operations standpoint. Next week (March 13th), I’m hosting a technical briefing with my colleagues at Wegaw and our partners at Metro Vancouver, BC. We’re going to get honest about: ➡️ Moving away from high-risk, high-cost helicopter surveys. ➡️ How to use daily satellite-to-stack data to manage record-low or high inflows. ➡️ Real-world results: Saving thousands a year while keeping field crews safe and reducing hardware costs. If you’re managing a watershed and trying to navigate this variability, I'd love to have you in the room. I’ll drop the registration link in the first comment below! 👇 #Hydropower #WaterManagement #BCBound #DigitalTransformation #Sustainability

[WEBINAR] Is your watershed management & forecasting ready for the 2026 variability? 🏔️💧 Canada is facing a new era of climate volatility. Relying on classic physical modelling, or high-cost field work is no longer the safest, or most efficient, way to manage hydropower assets and water resources. Join us on March 13th for an exclusive webinar: "Snow & Flow: Navigating the 2026 Canadian Watershed Variability." We will be diving deep into: ✅ Lessons from a Canadian municipality transitioning to satellite-derived snow monitoring to cut costs and increase safety. ✅ Lessons from a Canadian Utility optimizing Hydropower assets O&M using better snow data and short term streamflow forecasting. ✅ How to predict flash-melt events and mitigate inflow spikes with high-resolution satellite intelligence. Don’t just manage water—master the data behind it. 👇 Register here to join us: https://lnkd.in/e2qhrAfM #Hydropower #WaterManagement #SaaS #CanadaEnergy #CleanTech #RemoteSensing

Operating a hydropower plant in 2026 feels a lot like trying to hit a moving target while wearing a blindfold. Climate volatility has rendered historical averages essentially useless. At Wegaw, we give operators their sight back. We’ve processed 20 years of geospatial data to build a platform that predicts snow-driven inflow with surgical precision. With 2.4 GW of capacity already under management, we’ve moved past the "proof of concept" stage into full-scale industrial reliability. Ready to stop guessing and start optimizing? Don’t let unpredictable snowmelt or volatile weather dictate your generation schedule. Join the operators managing 2.4 GW of power who trust Wegaw for data-driven precision. 👉 Get in touch to book a demo and see your basin’s data in action

Coming from a geospatial background, I’ve always been fascinated by the gap between raw data and operational reality. 🌍 In the hydropower sector, that gap is often filled by helicopter trips to remote peaks for manual snow sampling—an expensive and slow process. Climate volatility has made this manual approach a risk. At Wegaw, we’ve focused on "Plug-and-Play" integration, delivering high-resolution evaluations of snow water storage daily, not monthly. Take Metro Vancouver in Canada: by switching to our daily AI-driven updates, they realized a 3x ROI simply by stopping the manual helicopter surveys. 📈 Scaling deep-tech isn't just about the algorithms; it’s about making sure an operator can trust the data enough to change their reservoir strategy in real-time.

🕰️ Stop monitoring snow like it's the early 20th century! Did you know that many snow monitoring methodologies have remained largely unchanged since 1906? That means relying heavily on risky, manual surveys and hardware, forcing teams into remote and dangerous conditions. This isn't just an inconvenience; it's inefficient, costly, and compromises team safety. Wegaw is ushering in the future of snow monitoring. We combine AI and remote sensing to deliver highly accurate and reliable snowpack data, eliminating the need for those dangerous field expeditions. Modernize your operations with Wegaw: ✅ Protect your personnel ✅ Significantly reduce costs ✅ Achieve superior data accuracy Ready to leap from 1906 to the present?
