    Last week, we took over New York Comic Con with our largest activation to date, The Whatnot House, a custom-built 2,200 sq ft structure that hosted all four days of activities. With more than 20 exclusives dropping throughout the weekend, two stages stacked with top Whatnot sellers, artists, and celebrities. The activation was a fully immersive walkthrough experience that felt like stepping inside the culture of collecting, where sellers and creators brought their collectibles to a massive audience, allowing viewers to see the action in real-time, whether they were on the ground or watching from home. Some highlights from the event: - 💥 We dropped 21 exclusives, including our own Year in Marvel ’25 Comic Trading Packs, DC x Todd McFarlane, and a lineup of limited exclusives from top Whatnot sellers - 🤳 Over 1,000 Whatnot sellers participated in our digital event, which included those at NYCC and beyond - 🎤 38 live shows featured on Whatnot throughout the event - 🤝 A major partnership with Marvel and Mass Appeal to release Mass Appeal's first-ever comic book, Legend Has It… - ⭐ Programming with Nas & Friends, DMC, Gary Vee, among many others

    Last month, we hosted a seller meetup in Emeryville, CA, with Whatnot seller dailyrefinement. Local sellers gained exclusive access to a warehouse tour, breakout discussions, and the opportunity to connect more deeply with one another. Their favorite part of the event? Learning from and networking with one another. 🤝 One of the highlights included our seller-led breakout sessions, which covered topics such as shipping, marketing, community building, and hiring. They reinforced the power of community, where collaboration, not competition, drives success. Up next: We’re headed to Atlanta, GA, in mid-October with another Whatnot seller, joehollywood - and later this year, we’ll also be launching a Meetups Hub where sellers can find local events or apply to host their own.
