At the IDET fair in Brno, Česká Zbrojovka showcased its latest rifle, the Bren 3, for the first time on home soil. The Bren 3 is a modular, multi-calibre rifle operating on a short-stroke gas piston system. It is a significant modification of the Bren 2 rifles, developed by Česká Zbrojovka based on feedback from use by special forces personnel.

 At the headquarters of Wytwórnia Sprzętu Komunikacyjnego PZL-Świdnik (part of Leonardo Helicopters), the first AW149 multirole support helicopter assembled in Poland, intended for the Polish Army, was spotted. Previously, the first three of the 32 contracted units were assembled at Leonardo’s Italian facilities in Varese-Venegono.

British Royal Air Force (RAF) announced that as part of testing, the MBDA Meteor long-range air-to-air missile had been conducted first flight with the Lockheed Martin F-35B Lightning II multirole aircraft belonging to the United States Marine Corps (USMC).

Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV – Försvarets materielverk) under the Ministry of Defence of the Kingdom of Sweden announced that it had signed a framework agreement worth approximately 600 million SEK (225.29 million PLN) with the company Szczęśniak Special Vehicles from Bielsko-Biała for the delivery of 10 heavy recovery and technical rescue vehicles based on a Scania 8×8 chassis, commonly referred to as heavy tow trucks.

The Army & Air Force Exchange Service opened an expanded store at the Bemowo Piskie Training Area (BPTA), providing enhanced services and support for service members stationed in Poland.

On Wednesday, February 19, 2025, the press service of the 8th Kraków Air Transport Base, named after Col. pilot Stanisław Jakub Skarżyński (8 BLTr.), announced that the Full Flight Simulator (FFS) Class D for the medium transport aircraft Airbus C295M has accumulated 5,000 flight hours since September 2017.

On Friday, February 21, 2025, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, along with the Armament Agency, announced on social media that a shipment from the Republic of Korea had arrived in Poland with the first 2025 deliveries of K2GF Heuk-Pyo (Black Panther) tanks and 155mm K9A1 Thunder self-propelled howitzers. https://lnkd.in/dDPnzaER

Rząd premiera Ulfa Kristerssona zamierza wkrótce upoważnić urząd zamówień obronnych FMV (Försvarets materielverk) przy Ministerstwie Obrony do zakupu systemów obrony powietrznej RBS 70 NG i Tridon Mk2 w celu przekazania ich Ukrainie. Zgodnie z danymi opublikowanymi we wtorek, 11 lutego 2025, przez Europejską Agencję Straży Granicznej i Przybrzeżnej (Frontex) liczba prób nielegalnego przekroczenia zewnętrznych granic Unii Europejskiej styczniu 2025 wyniosła ponad 13 400, czyli oznacza poziom o 22% niższy niż w porównaniu z analogicznym miesiącem roku ubiegłego. https://lnkd.in/dTcX-fWW
