  • #ParkerProud: Congratulations to Parks Supervisor Gerry Headley for receiving the Colorado Parks & Recreation Association's Parks Professional of the Year award! The CPRA Parks Professional of the Year award recognizes an individual who has made outstanding contributions to the parks and recreation profession in Colorado, a statewide honor. Through a nomination by his peers, Gerry was selected for the award by the parks section board. Gerry has served 12 years of dedicated service to the Town of Parker, and is a Certified Playground Safety Inspector and Certified Backflow Inspector. Gerry has enhanced public safety, improved irrigation efficiency, and developed innovative maintenance solutions. His leadership extends beyond operations, raising over $3,000 annually for the CPRA Spring Workshop, promoting professional development, and fostering creativity among his team. Through his technical expertise, problem-solving, and commitment to excellence, Gerry has made a lasting impact on both the community and the Parks and Recreation industry.
