About us

It’s an exciting time to join Tactile. Our story began in 2008 in the heart of the beautiful Copenhagen, and since then we have experienced continuous growth, establishing ourselves as one of the largest gaming companies in Denmark. In more recent years, we have been scaling fast, in big part thanks to the success of a little game called Lily’s Garden. Now we’re on a mission to solidify our position as one of the leaders in creating out-of-the-ordinary casual puzzle games. With more than 350 talented individuals, we are a mix of over 50 nationalities and 40% women. We truly appreciate the richness of different experiences and perspectives that Tactilers bring to the game. This is why we foster a lean organisational culture, in which each individual is encouraged to take responsibility, be open and grow in their own way. We pride ourselves in cultivating a studio environment that stays away from crunch, that fosters your skills no matter what your discipline is, and one that gives you a place to be creative alongside other passionate and invested storytellers. Come grow with us! 🌱

On Friday, we hosted our very first company-wide AI Learning Day 🤩 It seems like everyone is talking about AI these days. We, as a business, have been exploring and experimenting with a variety of AI tools for a while now, but we've started seeing some real progress within the last year or so. Across our teams (in product, marketing and core tech), Tactilers have been testing and incorporating different AI tools into their workflows. They've been able to achieve some pretty incredible results, including building our very own plug-in on top of FLUX, which allows our artists to generate assets with just 3 clicks 👏 And this is just the start. Instead of just talking about it, we wanted to showcase the amazing work our teams have been doing to the entire company - and so the idea of this TactAIle Learning Day came to life. A big shout-out and thank you to all of our speakers: Vera Kozlenko Sheleketo talked about GAIme Art, JC Lamuño talked about AI in 3D Modelling, Belén Navone and Franco talked about LAIve Ops, Matilde Søltoft, Branko Vlahov & Maria Guadalupe Suárez talked about how we use AI tools in marketing creatives (both in animAItions and grAIphic design), Joydeep Sengupta talked us through how he uses AI in Product Design within our Core Tech team and Rufino Garay tuned in all the way from AIrgentina to talk about the cool stuff they're working on out there 🚀 (yes, we love AI puns 🤣) We look forward to hosting more of these in the future 🤩 #LifeAtTactile #AILearningDay #AIDay

  • 🥁 It's Time for Talent ✨ Meet our talented Frontend Engineer, Mads Brandt 👋 We talked to Mads to learn more about how he, along with the rest of the Core team, builds tools that make the complexity of data & marketing ops more approachable to the rest of our teams 💪 "Tactile is an extremely data-driven company, so it’s rewarding to know that the tools I build play a part in the insights that shape our games. I really enjoy that sense of ownership, especially when I see how it can help others. But honestly? The best part is working with people who care as much about doing things well, as getting them done," says Mads. • Today is World Food Day 😋🍅🍗 This global event serves as a powerful reminder of the critical role that food plays in our lives. We are incredibly lucky at Tactile Copenhagen to have the most amazing kitchen crew, who takes really good care of us every single day 🥹 Just check the pictures 📸 We eat organic, seasonal food, 2 days/week are meat days, the rest of the week we eat vegetarian, but there are always vegan options available as well. Fridays are usually the best days, because you can get leftovers from the week which means getting your favourites for the second time that week 🤩 Oh and we cannot wait for Thursdays - cake days! 🍰 A big shout out to our kitchen crew and may everyone enjoy a nice, warm meal today 💜 #WorldFoodDay #LifeAtTactile

  • 📢 Quality or Quantity in mobile ads?? This is the topic that Volha Charnova was discussing in a fireside chat during the Mobile Ad Eaters event. And the big question was: Does it have to be one or another?? 👇 💡At Tactile, we always follow a quality-centric approach and here are a few of Volha’s key takeaways on how we apply it to our ad production: 1️⃣ Ads should reflect the quality of the game itself, its depth, and attention to detail. This is especially important for our narrative-driven games, where the main hook is an emotionally engaging story. 2️⃣ A good-quality ad is the one that serves its purpose. Whether that’s highlighting a specific gameplay aspect or evoking the exact emotion we want to communicate. 3️⃣ Reaching our quality bar is essential. Only then can we truly evaluate which concepts work and which don’t. 4️⃣ AI is a helpful tool that speeds up parts of the creative process, but the quality standards and fresh ideas always come from the talented people on our creative team. Thanks for sharing, Volha! 🤔 What are your thoughts on the quality vs. quantity debate? #mobilegaming #MobileAdEaters

  • We'd like to say a big, warm welcome to the new Tactilers who joined us this past month 🤩 - Alexandre Marques dos Santos, Lead Analyst, Marin Nikolovski, Backend Engineer on Core LiveOps team, Marko Prelevikj, Data Analyst, and Eduardo Andres Perez Leale, who joined us as our newest Core Client Programmer 🎉 👋 Hi, can you tell us a bit more about your role at Tactile? Alexandre: Hi, I'm Alex. I recently joined Tactile as a Lead Data Analyst in Lily's Garden. My role is to help the LiveOps team by providing insights into how users interact with the game so we can keep developing the best product for them. Marin: Officially, I'm a 'Senior Backend Engineer.' My job is to make sure that our game services don't take a nap during peak traffic. I build the backend systems that handle millions of player actions, which is a fancy way of saying that I write code that stops things from breaking when everyone decides to play at once. In other words, I'm a digital plumber. I spend my days making sure that the fun gets to our players without any...leaks! Marko: Hi 👋 My role is data analyst which is a bit like a data detective. I sift through lots of data to find clues about what people like and don't like. My findings help our product team make decisions so we can build things that our users will love. Eduardo: I’ve joined Tactile as a Client Programmer, where I work on the core systems that keep our games running smoothly. From build tools to shared services, my role is all about supporting our passionate game developers so they can focus on creating the fun, engaging experiences players love. ✨ Do you have a hidden talent or a fun fact about yourself? Alexandre: I was once scouted to attend a football training at my childhood football club (Sporting) and I was super excited! I ended up not staying, guess life had other plans for me :) Marin: My work as a Senior Web Developer on 'Far Cry 6' was recognised with an IMDB credit, thanks to the game's cinematic presentation. It's a unique bragging right that I don't take for granted! Marko: I like all sorts of puzzles, so I spend my free time solving Rubik's cubes, putting together lego models, doing crosswords, playing puzzle video games Eduardo: I collect vintage toys from the 80s. It started as a small hobby and has grown into a real passion! I love the mix of nostalgia, design, and history that comes with each piece. ✨ Thank you all for sharing, we're so happy to have you join our team! 💜 #LifeAtTactile #newstarters
