Black[Foundry] a new chapter begins We’re happy to share some big news: Black[Foundry]’s typeface catalog has joined The Type Founders. Since 2014, Black[Foundry] has crafted typefaces that merge precision and artistry, bridging cultures and scripts with curiosity and care. With The Type Founders, this catalog will continue to grow and thrive—keeping the Black[Foundry] spirit alive for the long term. As this transition unfolds, Black[Foundry] will soon close as a company. But the brand’s legacy isn’t only in the typefaces. It also lives on in the people behind it. Jeremie Hornus will carry forward the creative energy through his new studio, U+ Type, crafting bespoke typefaces, multilingual systems, and ambitious custom projects for brands worldwide, U+ Type is where the journey continues.
