  • Look what brief the cat dragged in! 🐱 The Young Ones Student Awards 2026 features seven creative briefs, and we're kicking things off on the furry side of the competition. Whiskas is one of the most globally recognized brands of cat foods, with a long history of keeping our feline friends healthy and happy, from kittenhood well into their senior years. And it's totally bad for your precious pet. Wait, what?! Well that's what Gen Zers have been led to believe through sensational posts on TikTok and Reddit. They're scouring the internet and coming across crazy claims. And while there's no shame in wanting the very best for your pet, we're looking to set the record straight: Whiskas doesn't kill cats. Your challenge? Flip this narrative amongst 18–30-year-old cat parents around the world, getting them to reconsider what they may have found online, and learn how Whiskas cats live long and healthy lives. Not a cat person? Never fear, there are six other briefs including Best Buy, Clash of Clans, Google, Philips, Verizon, and Walmart. Try your hand at any one, or take on more than one if you're feeling extra brave! Early Bird deadline: Dec 12 | https://youngones.org/

  • Celebrating the 2025 Next Creative Leaders! Ten years of championing bold voices. A decade of redefining creative leadership. We're thrilled to announce this year's Next Creative Leaders, talented, gender-expansive creatives who are making their mark with game-changing work and a unique vision for the future of our industry. At our 10th anniversary celebration, we kicked off with inspiring words from VML's Global Chief Experience Design Officer, Kaleeta McDade, unveiled the incredible 2025 winners and their standout work, and heard candid reflections from past NCL honorees on what it truly takes to lead in today's creative landscape. This milestone isn't just about recognition, it's about community, courage, and the evolution of creative leadership. To the 2025 winners: you're not just shaping campaigns. You're changing the industry for the better. Congratulations to this year's Next Creative Leaders. The future is here, and it's brilliant. ✨

She brings a unique perspective to judging, creating custom metrics to objectively evaluate storytelling, production quality, and direction alongside emotional impact. "At the beginning of my career, I was not winning any awards. I struggled to be seen. It was a discouraging experience for several years. Having this experience, I wanted to support young creatives." - Daria Koshkina Read more about Daria here: https://lnkd.in/g6cNeqHi Ready to join a community that celebrates creativity? • BEAUTIFUL THINGS is back for round two. The ADC team is constantly on the hunt for wonderfully crafted work, whether it's from a well-known studio or a photographer that just so happened to pop up in their personal IG feeds. Are they Cube-worthy? That's not for us to say, but they are undeniably cool. We'll be periodically showcasing projects that ADC have come across and enjoyed. Perhaps you'll have a similar reaction. 1. THE BUSINESS OF BELONGING for Ebony Magazine created by Amandla Baraka 2. Growing Album Personal Project created by Ewelina Bialoszewska 3. 50 Years After ‘Born to Run,’ We Took a Trip to Springsteen Country for The Wall Street Journal created by Michelle Gustafson 4. • ADCE - Art Directors Club of Europe DAY 2 AI Creative Summit REVEALED! November 21, the conversation continues. Day 2 at DHub Barcelona dives into the real work of AI integration, the tasks that suck, the workflows that scale, and the frameworks that actually work. From 100 Tasks That Suck with Taryn Crouthers (SPCSHP) to Confessions of a Professional Hallucinator with Matthew Carey (Google Creative Lab), we're exploring how agencies turn AI from experiment into execution. Featuring SPCSHP, Wild, Silverside AI, and Google Creative Lab, this is where theory meets practice, where the impossible becomes possible, and where we build the frameworks to future-proof creativity. Inspired by The One Club for Creativity's acclaimed format. Hands-on insights. Real solutions. 📍 DHub Barcelona 📅 November 20-21
