    The team from u-blox wrapped up an exciting and productive week at the XPONENTIAL Show yesterday. After countless conversations, many miles walked, and more than a little coffee, one thing became very clear, interest in high-precision GNSS technology for autonomous systems and UAV applications continues to grow rapidly. In particular, the ZED-X20D all-band GNSS receiver attracted significant attention thanks to its ability to deliver highly accurate heading and positioning performance for drone and robotics applications. https://ubx.io/x20d We also saw exceptionally strong interest in PointPerfect GNSS correction services, highlighting the increasing importance of reliable, scalable, high-accuracy positioning in UAV and autonomous platforms. https://ubx.io/pp-xpo A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to speak with the team.     The future of ADAS will not scale if high-performance automotive positioning remains too expensive, too fragmented, and too complex.   Today, we’re changing that.   u-blox is introducing the new ZED-X20K and ZED-A20K automotive GNSS modules, designed to support the full autonomy roadmap from scalable ADAS deployments to safety-critical autonomous architectures.     What happens when satellite signals take the wrong path?🛰️🏙️ In challenging environments such as urban canyons or areas with dense foliage, GNSS signals do not always reach the receiver via a direct line-of-sight (LOS). Instead, they can be reflected or diffracted by surrounding objects, arriving at the antenna through indirect paths with added delay and Doppler shifts. This is the multipath problem - one of the key challenges in achieving reliable GNSS positioning. At u-blox, we address this with Adaptive Long Coherent Integration (ALCI), a technique designed to strengthen the LOS signal while suppressing misleading multipath components. By leveraging extended coherent integration in the delay-Doppler domain, ALCI improves path separation, supports more accurate line of sight signal parameter estimation, and helps receivers identify and reject misleading echoes.
