    November is National Veterans and Military Families Appreciation Month, and USDA is proud to honor the loyalty and service of our veterans and military families!   All month, the Office of Human Resources Management and Office of Partnership and Public Engagement will be hosting events and activities to recognize and appreciate our USDA veterans and military families. USDA’s current initiative “100 Hires in 100 Days” encourages our hiring managers to bring on more veteran and military spouse talent into “The People’s Department.”    The Office of the Assistant Secretary of Civil Rights also will be hosting the USDA Veterans Day commemoration event, so stay tuned for more details.
