Twenty meetings a week. Less than four hours of actual design. The problem isn't meetings. It's being in everyone else's meetings. I broke down why designers drown in meetings, and the 4 strategies that actually work to fix it. Spend 6 months building a design system. Perfect components. Beautiful docs. Big launch. 12% adoption rate. The other 88% of your team? Still building whatever they want. Design systems don't fail because they're incomplete. They fail because they solve the wrong problem. I broke down why Spotify's 247-component system only needed 11. Why Atlassian went from 23% to 76% adoption. And the framework you can steal. #designsystem #design #ux #uxui

Hot take: Most "AI robots" are just fancy RC cars with ChatGPT bolted on. Real robotics breakthroughs are happening in: • Tactile sensing (robots that actually "feel") • End-to-end learning (no more hand-coded movements) • Humanoid locomotion (Boston Dynamics isn't alone anymore) I've been diving deep into what's actually working vs. hype. The signal-to-noise ratio in robotics news is terrible right now. Starting a weekly breakdown of what matters. Join if you want the real story: https://lnkd.in/gxv6K-s2

Tesla just delivered 495,570 vehicles in Q4 2024—their highest quarter ever and a new annual record of 1.79M vehicles. But here's what matters more than the headline number: The autonomy angle: Every Tesla delivered is a potential robotaxi in their network. That's nearly 1.8M vehicles collecting data, training their FSD system, and building toward autonomous ride-hailing at scale. https://lnkd.in/ggxqcTGD Tesla just delivered 495,570 vehicles in Q4 2024: their highest quarter ever and a new annual record of 1.79M vehicles. But here's what matters more than the headline number: The autonomy angle: Every Tesla delivered is a potential robotaxi in their network. That's nearly 1.8M vehicles collecting data, training their FSD system, and building toward autonomous ride-hailing at scale. No other AV company has this advantage. Waymo has ~700 vehicles. Cruise suspended operations. Tesla has millions of cars already on the road, learning. The reality check: Production capacity ≠ autonomous capability. Tesla still needs regulatory approval, safety validation, and proof that FSD can handle true driverless operation. They're years ahead on deployment infrastructure but still catching up on autonomy reliability. Why this matters: If Tesla cracks full autonomy, they won't need to build a robotaxi fleet from scratch. They'll flip a switch on millions of existing vehicles. That's a fundamentally different scaling model than anyone else in the AV space. #AutonomousVehicles #Tesla #SelfDriving #ElectricVehicles #Robotaxi #FSD #AutonomyReport #AVIndustry #TransportationTech https://lnkd.in/gD-KyrSq This content isn’t available here Access this content and more in the LinkedIn app

→ Kodiak AI just IPO'd at $2.5B with autonomous trucks *already* hauling freight without safety drivers. While robotaxi companies burn cash, long-haul trucking quietly cracked the business model. → Humanoid robots hit a reality check: IEEE Spectrum reports most run for only 2 hours on a charge. Achieving an 8-hour shift could take 10 years. The market is "almost entirely hypothetical" despite billion-dollar valuations. → Trump administration is removing human-centric vehicle requirements (windshields, pedals) to accelerate AV deployment. This unlocks entirely new vehicle designs—and new safety challenges. https://lnkd.in/gjJGe9kK

Vibe design is here. Write a prompt and get a dribbble-worthy UI in seconds. It looks good, sometimes really good. But theres a problem: it doesn't know your users. It doesn’t think about edge cases. It doesn’t care if the product actually works. That’s still on us. #uxdesign #vibedesign #vibecoding #productdesign https://lnkd.in/ds4Hq-rW
