AI coding tools are powerful but without structure, they can create more problems than they solve. In this webinar, Simon Martinelli walks through a practical workflow for spec-driven development with AI. You’ll learn how to: ✔ Use requirements as the source of truth ✔ Keep specs, code, and tests aligned ✔ Catch domain issues early ✔ Apply it in real business applications 📅 May 28 | 15:00 CEST / 9 AM ET Join us 👇 https://lnkd.in/eijrsGcm

What if you could build a reactive, real-time web app using only #Java? At the upcoming LJC meetup, Leif Åstrand will show how to build a modern full-stack application with #SpringBoot, #Redis, and #Vaadin - no JavaScript, HTML, or CSS required. See you in London on May 28 👋 🔗 Register at: https://lnkd.in/edf7VdGv

Load testing Vaadin apps just got easier. Client-server protocol specifics do not allow developers just to record and replay tests because the UIDL payloads, node IDs, CSRF tokens, session handling cannot be automatically scaled. We're building load testing tool to help automate this. This is planned for upcoming Vaadin 25.2 release in June 2026. How it works: - Records an existing TestBench or Playwright E2E test - Auto-generates a Grafana k6 load test script, with all Vaadin protocol handling baked in - Runs it with configurable virtual users, ramp-up, and duration - Get clear pass/fail thresholds you can wire into CI/CD, generates reports. What this unlocks: - Developers validate scalability without learning Vaadin internals or load-testing tools - Evaluators can answer "will this scale?" during the trial, not after deployment - Teams see breaking points (users, response times, error rates) before production does In my short video I show how this tool can detect a performance issue - fetching 1M records into Grid from the database. After replacing it with lazy loading, the tool shows that the response time is within the threshold. Read more about the tool here https://lnkd.in/dYa832FQ, use the latest TestBench 10.2.0-alpha4 version for early testing. Any feedback is more than welcomed!

Meet Catherine Edelveis (DevRel, BellSoft) at #VaadinCreate 2026 In her session “Creating a perfect container image for Java application”, Catherine breaks down how to treat container images like a product—balancing startup speed, memory, security, and scalability using a real Spring Boot + Vaadin app. You’ll leave with a practical checklist and decision framework you can actually use. 📍 27–28 Oct | Barcelona 🎟️ Get your ticket: https://lnkd.in/eMhuYC8M

Most Swing apps still work. The challenge is everything around them: UX expectations, deployment, maintainability. Start by running your app in the browser. Then modernize it step by step with Vaadin — while keeping everything in Java. 👉 Watch the full webinar: https://lnkd.in/egEu2NXY #vaadin #fullstackjava #appmodernization

If you're using AI tools in #Java development, you’ve probably seen both sides: Fast results in simple cases and friction in real projects. Once you move beyond prompts, you start dealing with: • Context limitations • Agents and automation • Tool integrations • Workflow complexity In this session, we break down how modern #AI workflows actually work, where they add value, and where they still fall short. 📅 May 13 | 15:00 CEST / 9 AM ET 🔗 Join us: https://lnkd.in/eeecZ7Tc

If your organization runs a #JavaSwing application, you already know the pressure. 🤯 The senior developers who built it are retiring. New hires have never touched Swing. And your users spend their day in Slack and Salesforce before switching to a #UI that looks like 2005. We put together a practical guide covering the three modernization approaches, how to choose between them, realistic timelines, and what successful migrations actually look like. 👇 🔗 https://lnkd.in/egAaHHuZ
