Really great turnout at the Laravel NYC Roadshow for an evening focused on Laravel Cloud + Laravel AI SDK! Lots of great conversations around what building real AI applications looks like right now. From tooling and workflows to the challenges that come with moving quickly in such a fast-changing space. We’re really grateful to have been part of the conversations, connect with the Laravel community in person, and share ideas with so many talented builders. Big thanks to Colin DeCarlo from our team speaking about the Laravel AI SDK and sharing some of the work and lessons our team has been exploring alongside the Laravel community. Thanks again to Laravel, Taylor Otwell, AWS, and everyone who came out and made it such a fun night! Are you currently building exceptional web apps with the Laravel AI SDK, Cloud, or Laravel in general? 😁

Amazing time at the April edition of GPUG! Last night the Vehikl offices were host to 30+ local developers for an evening of learning, networking and general camaraderie. Thanks to everyone who attended and thanks to Laravel for providing some cool swag to give away (like the nice $PHP shirt I'm showing off in the pictures). Already looking forward to getting May's edition organized!

Huge thanks to James Seconde for an awesome session at today’s Laravel Worldwide Meetup! His talk, I Didn’t Know Laravel Could Do That, started with a simple question, “what is a CPaaS?” and turned into a really interesting look at features many Laravel developers don’t even realize they already have access to. One of the biggest takeaways? Your Laravel app is probably capable of way more than you think, and Jim shared some great examples of how that shows up in real projects! Also, thank you to everyone who joined live! Missed it? Watch the full recording on the Laravel YouTube channel: https://lnkd.in/e3hHiETk

Next Wednesday (April 29th), we're hosting another amazing GPUG meetup! We'll be focusing on the most underappreciated part of your PHP tech stack, nginx. If you've never opened your nginx config files before, or if you've never even heard of nginx, this one is for you! There will also be some good learnings for those who are already DevOps dabblers. As always there will be pizza, refreshments and good opportunities for networking. When: 6:30PM, Wednesday, April 29th Where: Vehikl Offices RSVP Here: https://lnkd.in/eySm_w82

You might be surprised what your Laravel apps are capable of! Join us for our next Laravel Worldwide Meetup with James Seconde, who will be presenting: I Didn't Know Laravel Could Do That Your Laravel app is probably more powerful than you think. CPaaS unlocks a whole layer of capabilities that most developers never even knew to ask about, and Jim has seen this firsthand in conversations with devs. What can it actually do? Jim's saving that for the session, come find out! 📅 Tuesday, April 28th, 2026 🕛 12:00pm-1:15pm ET 🌐 https://lnkd.in/e5B3Mh4

At Vehikl, we care a lot about sharing knowledge with the community, so it’s always exciting to see our team out there doing just that. Christopher Lemon will be speaking at PHPtek this year, and recently joined the #CommunityCornerPodcast to give a preview of his talk. He dives into nginx and some of its lesser-known capabilities, including how to keep applications resilient even during downtime. If you're attending #PHPtek next month, be sure to check it out!
Last week I had the opportunity to join Scott Keck-Warren on the #communityCornerPodcast to discuss my upcoming talk at #phptek! We had a great chat about nginx and some of it's lesser known features, for example the ability to serve up cached content if your application is experiencing downtime. Big thanks to Scott and PHP Architect for having me on, and looking forward to giving the full talk at PHPTek in May! https://lnkd.in/eyuwjtJ9

Big thanks to Joshua Blum for an excellent talk at the Laravel Worldwide Meetup yesterday! Joshua walked us through the new Statamic 6 updates! A full redesign, a new UI component library, a stack built on Inertia, Tailwind CSS, Vue 3, and much more. But beyond the features, the real takeaway was how much more enjoyable content-driven Laravel projects can be when you have the right foundation under them. If you've ever wrestled with content management in a Laravel app, this one is worth watching! A huge thank you as well to everyone who joined the session, participated in the chat, and continues to support the Laravel Worldwide Meetup. Missed the live session?
