A great number of business process modeling endeavors aim to create representations of business processes which can be translated to computer software by IT stakeholders while remaining understandable to business stakeholders. However in practice, business process models rarely meet these high demands, leading either to models which are too informal to be interpreted by a computer or to models which are incomprehensible to business stakeholders. Our research attempts to assess why these problems occur and whether it is fundamentally feasible to create models that meet these demands.

Most people using coding agents are missing THIS point. If you're serious about using coding agents, you need to realize you're building platforms for them. That means: - Supplying tools, secrets, infra, and project context - Managing environments (isolated, reproducible, ephemeral) - Balancing control with autonomy In short, you're now a platform engineer for agents. > What doesn’t work when you’re building platforms for coding agents: - YOLO mode (run 10 agents locally, they clash, state leaks, no auditability) - “File a ticket” mode (agents hidden behind queues, zero visibility until the PR lands) > What actually works when you’re building platforms for coding agents: 1. Background work (agents operate async, without hand-holding) 2. Rails (explicit constraints: which base image to use, how to test, what secrets are allowed — to avoid wasting tokens correcting them) 3. Structured intervention (not babysitting each action, not blind code review — real-time stepping in when needed) 4. Optionality (swap in new models, tools, compute — no lock-in to a single stack) This only works when agents operate inside clean, versioned containers (creating, editing, running, and experimenting without touching your local state) #aiagents

There is an invisible tax that early stage companies pay. Rework. Architectures rebuilt too soon. Teams reshaped mid stream. Processes replaced instead of refined. Most of this traces back to hiring decisions made under pressure. People who are capable, but mismatched to the stage of the company. Early healthtech does not need optimisers. It needs builders who tolerate ambiguity without cutting corners that matter later. The cost of getting this wrong is rarely obvious upfront. It shows up as missed windows, brittle systems, and founders spending time mediating instead of building. Rework feels like progress while it is happening. Only in hindsight does it reveal itself as delay.

If you're a big company selling agentic hosting and you don't have a terraform provider you're doing it wrong. if you're any company publishing an agentic framework and you don't support convenient local dev features like streamlit automations, a local api server, easy local database and cache access and local eval automations -- you're doing it wrong. Honestly this is one thing Google has gotten very right with their ADK. It is indubitably the best agent framework thus far, no question.
