I paid SAP contractors $2OK a month. In the early days of the ERP boom ,27 years ago, I found myself at the heart of a hiring frenzy. The first release of SAP R/3 had just hit the market, and companies were clamoring for SAP functional consultants. With only six months of experience, these consultants were commanding $1,000 a day, and we offered $10,000 sign-on bonuses to attract them to clients like Accenture and EY in Chicago and Atlanta. The demand was unprecedented, driven by the need for expertise to implement this groundbreaking ERP system. My phone was ringing day and night as major corporations in 17 countries started a bidding war for contractors who could start work within 7 days. Fast forward to today, and I see a similar storm brewing on the horizon. This time, it's the rise of AI that's set to transform industries. A new wave of specialists—AI Project Managers and Prompt Engineers—is about to become the hottest commodity. As with the SAP boom,the key to success lies in communication and presentation skills. Companies will compete fiercely to hire those who can bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and practical business applications. I predict a mind-blowing hiring frenzy, one that will rival or exceed the early days of SAP. The landscape will be marked by opportunities for those who can navigate the complexities of AI and articulate its potential to transform businesses. When we say jobs are mandatory for human capital management implementation and positions are optional how can you suggest to your client saying that positions are required for your business are just jobs are required for your business? Positions -If the clients are looking for detailed approvals then positions are required -If the client wants to maintain the financial budget considerations then positions are required -If the client says that i wanted to have the head control then positions are required Jobs -If the client says that he don't want all these three then jobs are sufficient 2. When we are working with the jobs we will assign jobs to reference data set and reference data set to business unit but positions are directly assigned to the business unit what is the reason behind that ? - Most of the jobs are common that's why we will assign this jobs to the business unit through the reference data set advantage is you don't need to create multiple types the job name you need to create multiple times the same job can be assigned to multiple automatically that's the advantage but positions are specific to business unit if the client says that in this I'm selling the goods to the customer it means indirectly that is a sales office when there is a sales office definitely there will be an employee who are related to sales department who are related to sales department - Positions are based on the business unit and - Jobs will be assigned through reference data set 3.
