Ongoing Infrastructure Modernization   Proud to announce that our Server Migration team upgraded aging equipment and wiring across various TxDOT facilities to improve Wi-Fi coverage, maximize uptime, and improve the work efficiency of onsite employees.     This helps save millions of taxpayer dollars in capital and operations costs annually.     TxDOT also implemented a support model for server infrastructure. Our Flagship Next-Gen Data Center Takes a Giant Step Forward We are pleased to announce we have secured a site in the San Marcos area of Central Texas on which we will be building our flagship Next-Gen, colocation data center. CloudBurst's Chairperson, Cynthia Thompson, stated, “We’re thrilled to have found a site that is ideal in every respect for the planned construction of both the data center and its 20 – 30MW “behind-the-meter”, power plant. It’s also large enough to enable expansion from a single building to a campus delivering over 120MW, particularly if high-density racking and associated innovative cooling systems are installed to handle AI, machine learning (ML), robotics and IoT”. Our flagship is scheduled to be “future ready” for business in early 2026 and the management team is pursuing an aggressive schedule to complete all planning, permitting and design work, ready to break ground later this year. In addition to the 20-30MW of behind-the-meter power, we have sufficient land to significantly expand our energy and data center footprints. Once completed, it will ensure the flagship will produce as much energy as it consumes. Our long-term goal remains to achieve an overall Net-Zero carbon footprint. Integral to the initial phase will be a “SuperLab”, to enable clients to undertake the testing and development of emerging data center technology solutions in a real-time, commercial environment. We are also adding an on-site CloudBurst Education Academy, which is planned to be developed in conjunction with Guadeloupe County and other participating education institutions in and around Central Texas. CloudBurst’s colocation flagship will truly reflect the “shape of things to come”, and as such it will be designed and built with a minimal carbon footprint, and an inherent flexibility to not only manage the ever increasing power loads and cooling requirements that come with the new emerging technologies of AI, ML, robotics and IoT, but also, with the ability to service the more traditional/conventional retail and wholesale clients. The Flagship data center is the first in a planned series of Next-Gen data centers we plan to design, build and operate, and will adhere to our strict philosophy of working hand-in-hand with the local, regional and national communities to build better, and to build for everyone’s benefits.
