Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis on economic data, including GDP, inflation, unemployment, and other key economic indicators.
- Develop and maintain economic models to forecast economic trends and assess the impact of economic policies and events.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on economic conditions, trends, and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze data from various sources to provide insights into economic patterns and market dynamics.
- Collaborate with other departments to support strategic planning and decision-making with economic analysis.
- Monitor and report on global and regional economic developments, including policy changes, market trends, and economic forecasts.
- Assist in the development of economic policy recommendations based on research findings and analysis.
- Stay informed about emerging economic issues and trends to provide timely and relevant insights.
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience in economic analysis, research, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis, statistical methods, and economic modeling.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex economic data and trends.
- Proficiency in economic analysis tools and software, including Excel, econometric software, and data visualization tools.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex economic concepts clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with economic policies, regulations, and global economic trends is advantageous.
