Architectural Designer – Historic Preservation

Our Atlanta office is looking for a highly motivated designer with excellent communication skills who is able to work well with people at all levels of the firm. The ideal candidate will be someone who takes the initiative to research, design and implement complex projects. The candidate should have a solid foundation and interest in the integration of systems and enjoy rehabilitating historic buildings.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Professional (NAAB Accredited) Degree in Architecture.
  • 2-5 years of experience in an architectural office environment.
  • Working knowledge of historic preservation and the US Secretary of the Interior Standards for Rehabilitation is preferred but not required.
  • Strong Revit and production skills are required.
  • Graphic communication skills to support a variety of presentation media: presentation drawings, marketing materials, feasibility studies, etc. Photoshop, Illustrator and/or InDesign skills.
  • Skilled in analytical thinking, modeling and rendering to support the design process.
  • Self-motivated individual able to work well in a collaborative office environment.
  • Ability to handle job stress, deadlines and interact effectively with others in the workplace is an essential function of the job.
  • Good computer skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel).
