Armand Corporation, an award-winning M/WBE Construction Management firm celebrating over 33 years in the industry, is seeking a full-time Data/Business Analystfor a federal construction project related to complex rail, transit, and other transportation projects in NY & NJ.

The ideal candidate has at least 5years of full-time experience in data structure management, analytics, and report generation via Power BI, as well as a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Construction,or related fields.

This position will be full-time, on-site. Candidates are expected to live in or near the New York metropolitan area.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIESinclude, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop and track project performance metrics, reports, and collaboration sites to assist with project/program schedule monitoring andcommunicate status updates tomanagement teams
  • Analyze and use data via Power BI to identify key project issues andvariancefrom approved plans
  • Perform data visualization and forecast trendsusing statistics and established pattern-finding techniques
  • Managing data sets, ensuring they are clean, accurate, and ready for analysis, involving data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
  • Prepares and assists in various levels of project reporting
  • Assists in process development and implementation of project control reporting procedures

QUALIFICATIONSinclude, but are not limited to, the following:

  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Construction,or related fields
  • 5+ years of professional experience working directly as a full-time Data/Business Analyst using Power BI
  • Strong understanding of data analysis and visualization principles and proficiency in Power BI and other data tools
  • Excel expertise including macro development, look-up tables, complex formulas, and pivot tables
  • Proficiency indata management, production, and report development isrequired
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, MS Project, Adobe Acrobat)
