About the Role

The Company is seeking an EVP, Head of Corporate Development & Strategy to join their dynamic team. This pivotal role is responsible for leading the Corporate Development function, including board management, M&A, investments, and identifying organic growth opportunities. The successful candidate will work closely with the executive team to shape corporate strategy, lead special projects, and drive the company's growth through new business initiatives. A key aspect of the role is the ability to manage and lead a small but mighty Corporate Development team, while embodying the company's values and demonstrating a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or consulting, with a proven track record in leading and managing transactions. They should have substantial experience in strategic and financial analysis, complex deal structuring, and be adept at project management and negotiations. Experience in the media space, particularly with linear television, and a background in launching new business initiatives are essential. The role requires a collaborative leader who can influence change, is adept at storytelling through data, and can adapt to a variety of audiences. The candidate should also be comfortable with ambiguity and be able to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
