Head of Talent Development

Position:


Reporting to the Head of HR, this Talent Development leader will design and execute talent strategies, programs and change management initiatives that drive achievement of ICW’s business objectives.


The Director of Talent Development will assess, design, and execute an enterprise-wide approach to talent assessment, development, and learning to promote employee engagement and productivity. It is expected that this Director will be a thought leader, adding organizational value through these talent strategies and tactics.


This leader will consolidate all learning and development efforts to create a world class learning environment that has a measurable impact on business results and team member development.


This individual will be flexible and agile enough to navigate internal and external constituents with speed and diplomacy. This leader will build trusting relationships with key stakeholders and lead by emphasizing intense collaboration, partnership, inclusivity, teamwork, communication, and transparency on all levels.


Currently Talent Development has 12 team members.


Key Responsibilities:


Build and implement an Academy for early career professionals, making it impactful, building a strong pipeline of talent for ICW.


Create and implement a robust effective way for ICW to upskill and reskill talent as the business and operations morph, particularly as technology rapidly changes how work gets done.


Develop and execute robust impact leadership and management develop programs which focus on critical leader capabilities. These skills drive critical business outcomes, equipping leaders with the skills necessary to motivate teams, unlock potential, and navigate change.


Leverage and integrate into the Talent Development strategic and plan, different approaches to learning including Personalized and Micro- learning, to meet the needs of specific targeted audiences.


Leverage technology and data in bringing new approaches to learning at ICW including generative AI.Capitalize on ICW’s learning platform, Docebo, so it has a great impact. Or, identify and implement a new LMS which integrates with Workday and addresses ICW’s short- and long-term learning needs.


Experience:


Minimum 8 years of experience designing and implementing learning and development programs.

Experience building a corporate university, leadership academy, or similar development programs on a corporate-wide scale.

Minimum 2 years of management experience.
