The Business Analyst - HealthEdge will play a crucial role in analyzing, designing, and optimizing our HealthEdge systems and solutions. This role involves working closely with stakeholders, gathering requirements, and translating them into actionable insights to enhance our healthcare management processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HealthEdge technologies, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to drive meaningful business improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users and IT teams, to gather and document detailed business requirements and functional specifications related to HealthEdge systems.
System Analysis: Analyze existing HealthEdge solutions and processes to identify areas for improvement, optimize workflows, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Solution Design: Develop and propose solutions based on business requirements, leveraging HealthEdge technologies to address specific needs and challenges.
Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis tools to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from HealthEdge systems, providing insights and recommendations for decision-making.
Testing and Validation: Create and execute test plans to ensure that HealthEdge solutions meet the specified requirements and function as intended. Document and track defects, coordinating with development teams for resolution.
Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation, including requirement specifications, process maps, user guides, and training materials.
Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are informed and aligned throughout the project lifecycle.
Project Management: Support project management activities, including tracking progress, managing timelines, and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in business analysis or project management are a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on HealthEdge solutions and healthcare systems.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with HealthEdge software (e.g., HealthRules, HealthRules Payor), and familiarity with related technologies and tools. Experience with data analysis tools and methodologies is highly desirable.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the capacity to interpret complex data and processes.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
Project Management: Experience in managing projects or working in a project management environment is beneficial.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional) are advantageous.
Industry Knowledge: Understanding of healthcare industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to payer and provider operations.
