General Summary
We are looking for a positive, detail-oriented HR professional to join our team! The HR Administrator is responsible for supporting various human resource functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits processing, and general HR administration. Working in conjunction with the VP of HR and the HR Assistant, this position plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily HR operations and providing supportive, engaging work experience for our ~150-person office-based and remote workforce.
Essential Functions
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
- Source and attract qualified candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, career fairs, and employee referrals.
- Screen resumes and applications to shortlist suitable candidates.
- Coordinate and conduct initial interviews, ensuring candidates meet the job requirements and company culture.
- Manage the candidate pipeline, interview scheduling, and track recruitment progress.
- Prepare employment letters, contracts, and other HR documents as needed.
- Work in conjunction with the HR Assistant to manage the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed.
- Support new hire orientation, including introduction to company policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Work with the VP of HR to monitor the progress of new hires during the initial stages to ensure successful integration.
- Manage the hr@etherio.com email box, address employee inquiries and any other HR-related communications in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with legal and company standards.
- Assist in distributing internal HR communications, such as policy updates or company announcements.
- Support the HR team in handling employee relations and maintaining a positive workplace environment.
- Manage incoming requests for employment verifications and status updates regarding applications.
- Assist with the administration of employee benefits, including medical, dental, retirement, and other benefit programs.
- Provide support with payroll-related tasks.
- Assist with HR and benefits-related invoices.
- Assist with audits and preparation of reports related to HR activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or a relevant business field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a Human Resources environment.
- Proficiency in HR Management Software, preferably Paycor.
- Payroll processing experience, preferably Paycor.
- Expertise in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of state and federal labor laws.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects and tasks.
- Strong phone, email, and in-person communication skills.
- Discipline to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive employee information and ensure proper data handling.
This position will be based in our Atlanta office with the opportunity to work remotely two days a week.
Travel Requirements
Ability to travel up to 1-2 times per year.
Scheduling Requirements
Requires flexibility in scheduling, such as the ability to work evenings and weekends during peak HR periods to meet company needs.

- Must be able to remain in a stationary position most of the time.
- Need to lift, carry, push, or drag boxes or equipment up to 30 lbs.
- Frequently moves inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Occasionally required to position self in a stooping, kneeling, or crouching manner.
- Frequently required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, machinery, and computers.
- Frequently communicates with others and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Frequently operates a computer and other electronic equipment.
- The noise level in the office work environment is usually low to moderate.
