Job Description: As a Junior Financial Analyst specializing in brand evaluation from a finance perspective, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) team. Your primary focus will be on analyzing product performance and providing insights that drive strategic decision-making in the manufacturing and distribution sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Performance Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis of brand performance, including sales trends, profitability, and market share.
• Data Collection and Reporting: Gather and analyze data from various sources to prepare comprehensive reports on product performance.
• Forecasting and Budgeting: Assist in the development of financial forecasts and budgets related to brand performance.
• Variance Analysis: Perform variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and projected financial performance.
• Market Research: Conduct market research to understand industry trends and their impact on product performance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams to gather relevant data and insights.
• Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to support brand analysis and strategic planning.
• Ad Hoc Analysis: Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support for special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the manufacturing or distribution industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
