Mar-Tech Marketing Manager (Willowbrook, IL - HQ)

Club Champion is seeking a dynamic and experienced Mar-Tech Manager to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of database management, customer journey activation, APIs, and the ability to work with 3rd party partners. An understanding of Salesforce and Marketing Cloud is critical. This role is pivotal in leveraging technology to drive innovative marketing strategies and will have exposure to the company’s leadership team.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Mar-Tech Ownership
  • Ownership of our mar-tech infrastructure and development will be an essential skill needed to drive marketing initiatives. You will be asked to review, enhance and develop our marketing infrastructure to facilitate initiatives.
  • Ensure all marketing endeavors are tagged and coded correctly so we can measure ROI for strategic discussions with the leadership team.
  • Effectively manage and collaborate with 3rd party developers to achieve the marketing vision.
  • Database Ownership:
  • Take full ownership of the customer database, ensuring accurate segmentation, maintenance, and utilization.
  • Ensure all email marketing campaigns comply with industry regulations, including CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other relevant laws.
  • Segmentation & Targeting
  • As part of a team, develop and execute customer journey strategies for new customer onboarding, cart abandonment recovery, rebooking incentives, and personalized communications.
  • Design and implement sophisticated audience segmentation strategies to deliver highly personalized and targeted email, SMS, Direct Mail, etc. communications.
  • Analyze customer data and behavior to develop audience segments that drive engagement and conversion.
  • Produce reports for leadership that are transparent and insightful to help them make business decisions.
  • Continuously refine segmentation and targeting strategies based on campaign performance and insights.
  • New Initiatives
  • As part of a team, help design and implement new revenue initiatives such as partnerships that might include unique landing pages and promotional codes.
  • Work closely with finance to align partnership strategies with financial measurement, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, IT or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in database management, Mar-Tech implementation, and customer journey optimization.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Salesforce Admin/Developer. Certification Platform Developer Preferable.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in Marketing Cloud.
  • Proven track record of managing and executing successful marketing campaigns that drive engagement, conversion, and retention.
  • Experience with audience segmentation, personalization, and automation in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Experience working with partnerships and API integration.
  • Experience in managing third-party vendors and ensuring their alignment with company goals.
  • Excellent Project management skills with the ability to guide cross-functional teams and manage projects from concept to execution.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for golf a plus.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
