Principal Data Science Consultant - New York City - J12835 - NO VISA SPONSORSHIP

A fantastic opportunity to work with a fast-growing data consultancy who in 5 years have over 300 employees in Europe. This role will be to join their New York Office set up in January this year with a view to growing as fast as their European offices and you will be instrumental to its success!

As a key member of the leadership team you will play a key role in growing thought leadership, team mentoring, business development and embed a culture of delivery excellence. The primary focus of their Consultants is to deliver high calibre commercial & technical solutions across: Reporting, Value Creation, Client exit strategies and Data Due Diligence.

Key responsibilities

Develop and lead client relationships to identify and create new business opportunities.

Manage, lead and deliver projects whilst overseeing multiple client assignments simultaneously to ensure their success.

Lead the team by supporting, guiding and coaching them to successfully deliver data driven solutions for clients.

Maintain and set standards for excellence in client communications and relationship management, acting as a partner and trusted expert.

Skills and experience:

8 years + professional experience within Data Science in either a Private Equity or Management Consulting firm, with a focus on quantitative work.

Demonstrate you are a ‘high performer’ in previous professional roles through progression or business development.

An excellent problem solver with the ability to be agile and adaptable.

Extensive Data Consulting experience within the USA, having led and created a specialist analytical/quantitative team.

Excellent knowledge of analytical tool ie Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Python or R, to drive key findings for clients.

You are ambitious, thoughtful, and not afraid to challenge the status quo with strong relationship management of and influence of stakeholders.
