CCPA Annual Metrics: Calendar Year 2023
Effective on June 7, 2024
The CCPA Regulations require that certain businesses disclose annual metrics regarding their responses to certain consumer requests under the CCPA. This notice contains LinkedIn’s CCPA-specific metrics for the 2023 calendar year. In particular, these metrics reflect the number of requests LinkedIn received in which the requester specifically invoked the CCPA. Because LinkedIn offers all its members the ability to exercise the data subject rights listed below without the need to identify the law that authorizes their request, these metrics exclude data regarding the majority of successfully completed requests, such as those achieved using LinkedIn’s automated data download feature or by adjusting their settings.
In the calendar year 2023, LinkedIn processed the following number of requests that explicitly invoked the CCPA:
Requests received | Complied with in whole | Complied with in part | Denied | Mean days to respond | |
Requests to know (data access) | 3 | 2 | 0 | 1 | 6.7 |
