The rapid adoption of classic AI and GenAI in businesses is creating a split-screen effect:   On one side, employees are reporting increasing confidence in these tools over the past year as they use the tools more frequently. On the other, employees who regularly use GenAI tools are more likely than others to worry about job loss.   These dueling and paradoxical views emerge from a global survey conducted by BCG X of over 13,000 employees: https://on.bcg.com/3Xpnn8M

Our BCG Executive Perspectives program offers innovative insights on global topics that matter most to today's leaders. Explore the new series guiding the C-suite through their AI transformation journeys—and download the latest function-specific playbooks: https://on.bcg.com/4gKql0P

Firms derive stronger returns from CRM investments when they view the tools as a business transformation, not solely a technology implementation.   Successful transformations are led by the business, driven by user experience, supported at the C-level, and measured against a value-based business case. You need strong data pipelines and good ETL to consistently "clean & normalize" your data so your models that your agents run on can have clean data to process and provide the post-processing output you seek

Thank you for sharing this insightful post! Dreamforce Boston Consulting Group (BCG) It's fascinating to see how BCG is emphasizing the need for a unified AI strategy in marketing, sales, and service. I’m curious to hear your thoughts on the balance between integrating GenAI into existing systems versus reimagining processes from the ground up—what approach do you think yields more lasting impact?

Data security and compliance are very important

AI can fundamentally transform the customer journey—if organizations set a unified strategy that reshapes critical functions and invents new experiences.   According to new BCG research, 74% of marketing, sales, and service leaders expect GenAI to enhance key business metrics. But first movers haven’t achieved the expected value or ROI because their initial use cases don’t go far enough.   Learn a unified strategy for AI transformation that creates value: https://on.bcg.com/4eeZwAc
