The Concourse D Widening project at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) is taking shape. Three months ago, five new gates - designed for prefab modular construction - crossed runways and taxiways to be connected to Concourse D. Since then, Corgan has been busy fitting them out and we are excited that as of last Thursday, the new gates have been welcoming planes and travelers. The success of this phase of the project marks a significant achievement and underscores that modular construction is a safe and schedule-efficient methodology in aviation construction - a new standard for what can be achieved in our industry.
