It is time for #FMS24! On Thursday, we have 4 deep technical sessions on the Open-Source Software Track where you will be able to hear from top developers about their contributions to different parts of the Open-Ecosystem. In the Linux Mainline Session, Benjamin, Keith, and Jim will be providing updates around the status of the NVMe ecosystem in SPDK and the Linux Kernel, which they maintain. In the Databases Session, Prasad, Brian, Arun, and Hao will be presenting their upstream work in different database systems In the Memory Management Ecosystem Session, Davidlohr, Igor (instead of Sergei), and Barrett will be talking about the work they are doing in the ecosystem to enable CXL. In the AI Open-Ecosystem Session, Prasad will be moderating a panel around the efforts that different industry are making to create a robust open-ecosystem around AI with Nilesh, Yann, Eric, Akshay, and Sandhya (Sandy). Weekend activity: Migrating 25TB of data... Remember: For anyone who needs to migrate huge amounts of data: Be sure to use a method which verifies the file hashes and not just the size and modification time! rsync does not use hashing by default. Use -c to enable this, but expect more load on the server!
