Does your resume mention your AI coding tool skills? 👀 Respondents to our survey on AI in software development expect that Al coding tool skills would make for a more attractive job candidate—especially in India. 🚀 https://lnkd.in/gMj7_Ttj

  • Bar chart showing survey respondents' expectations that AI coding tool skills would make candidates more attractive in four countries: USA, Brazil, Germany, and India. The categories displayed are 'No,' 'Yes, Slightly,' 'Yes, Somewhat,' and 'Yes, Significantly,' with varying percentages for each country.

That depends how long until we get some legal protections against having AI forced into everything we touch and/or the people staying afloat by peddling AI pixie dust finally lose the goodwill of their investors. 😅

No. AI is only helpful in cases where the candidate still has enough knowledge to verify the proposed solution. Using these tools a lot and having experience with entering prompts doesn’t necessarily mean that the candidate will produce better results. Most likely there will be more ‘stuff’

What are the necessary formulas and boundary validations required for a package that must be recycled, and how does the library's acceptance process work within your programs? What are the proper procedures for deleting and instructing on package usage, and are there any legal or regulatory standards governing these actions? Are there any legal design requirements or specifications for addressing specific cases during the design process?

On aura droit à une belle génération perdu, ne sachant rien faire sans demander à l'ia (et en redemandant la même chose encore et encore, parce qu'ils n'auront fait que copier sans comprendre)

As someone who reviews PR’s for open source projects, AI code generators are a menace. I can’t tell you how many people think they are helping asking ChatGPT or co-pilot to add a feature to the project and submitting without the slightest understanding of what the change does and what it broke.

How do you demonstrate this? You grab your fave tool in the middle of a coding challenge and have it do its thang? I can only see 1000000 ways in which that backfires

I would love people to adapt to modern job descriptions for genAi Artists. Its such a strong field, but barely anyone puts jobs out there. We do.
