This week's blog focuses on an infrastructure issue (K8s) and how Matt troubleshoots it in less than 4mins: https://lnkd.in/gkrXkcN8 My favorite part is the customer quote: "The remediation recommendations are exactly what we would have done. Getting the K8s commands that I can just copy and paste is a great feature". 𝐀 𝐊𝐮𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐢𝐩: (NO BS) My friend once said, for crucial Pods, set (𝐂𝐏𝐔 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐲) request and limit equally. My first reaction: "What the fish?" Why should I set them both equally? After a while, I realized. It's about taking advantage of 𝐐𝐨𝐒 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬. If you set them both same, your Pods get guaranteed QoS. And that means, your Pods are little safer from getting evicted. Obviously. This may not workout for all use cases. But with careful planning it can be quite handy. P.S Progress begins with a single step. Just take it. #kubernetes #devops #cloudcomputing
