🔬 We're really excited to share a recent project that combines Nextflow and BioCompute! The Seqera team built a plugin to seamlessly create BioCompute Objects (BCOs) from a Nextflow invocation, enhancing reproducibility and interoperability in bioinformatics research. 💻🧬 Using Nextflow's robust workflow management capabilities, you can now easily create a BCO from any Nextflow pipeline, including nf-core pipelines. These BCOs encapsulate key metadata and parameters, ensuring the reproducibility and traceability of computational workflows. Curious to dive deeper? Check out the repository here: https://lnkd.in/ecWpmy9Y, where you'll find instructions in the README. Just enable the BCO plugin in your Nextflow config file! We're eager for feedback, so please send any questions, comments, or general thoughts our way! Join us in advancing bioinformatics research through Nextflow and BioCompute, and let's pave the way for more reproducible and transparent science! 🔬 #Nextflow #Seqera #BioCompute #Bioinformatics #Reproducibility #OpenScience #Research #WorkflowManagement #ComputationalBiology

🌐 The Wikidata #KnowledgeGraph is a free, open, & collaborative knowledge database storing structured data to support Wikipedia, the Free Encyclopedia & other Wikimedia Foundation projects. It’s an extremely valued resource created by the #SemanticWeb community & is relied on by many diverse groups. We believe in the democratization of its use. 🤝 That is why we collaborated with metaphacts GmbH to introduce aimed at enhancing its utility through improving the visual interface, the #semanticsearch capabilities, pathfinding algorithms & more, all powered by #GraphDB. 🆓 The interface built, hosted & maintained by metaphacts GmbH, at no cost to its users. In addition to being free to access, members of the research community are eligible for free academic metaphactory licenses & a targeted metaphactory app (available upon request). 👉 https://hubs.la/Q029K9C-0

I have done an RNA-Seq for muy subject Algorithms for analysis sequences in bioinformatic. This folder contains two files, RNA-Seq (programmed in R) and a diagram to relate functions. This is a simple idea and mybe my code and diagram have some mistakes, but with work and persistance i’m sure i will do better next time! #UCAV #Bioinformatic #RNA-Seq #R #Genes

This is a very practical, get-to-the-bottom video on #OpenSource and all the recent news about software companies changing their well-known projects' licenses to SSPL/BSL/FSL/whatever. This message is central: "No Open Source project should be owned by a single company."
