Last week, Emmy Award-Winning Actor, Ted Danson and Tony Award-Winning and Emmy Award-Nominated Actress, Kelli O’Hara, joined our Chairman, Mike Bloomberg for the annual 9/11 Memorial & Museum Benefit Dinner. The evening highlighted some of the heroes of 9/11, offering the audience a greater understanding of the acts of compassion of so many in the aftermath of the attacks. We proudly recognized ABM Industries for Corporate Distinction (presented to President & Chief Executive Officer Scott Salmirs), Anne Finucane, Former Vice Chair, Bank of America, for Leadership Distinction, and Kevin Rampe, Head of North America Claims, Chubb, for Visionary Distinction. Many committed supporters raised critical funds that make possible our mission to educate the next generation about 9/11 history. 1moI was in New York when that happened.I was working at a Security Company that had 5 Guards in the tower at the time that happened. It was a very heart breaking time in New York. Everyone was so depressed for months, and the whole city changed because of it. We can never get over what happened, but with God we can get through it!
