  • The programme for ESCAIDE's 20th edition on 18-20 November is coming together, and you can still register to attend online - for the whole conference or selected sessions! This year's first plenary will focus on the decentralisation of public health leadership. Regional institutions such as Africa CDC and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), alongside the WHO, are taking on greater responsibility for preparedness, surveillance, and outbreak respons. Speaker Shingai Machingaidze from CEPI (Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations) will reflect on the opportunities for collaboration and challenges of this shift. The session will also explore how Europe and global partners can collaborate in this new public health landscape.
