Our representation of Halo's iconic space combat in the Homeworld 2 engine, which puts the player in command of some of the most powerful weapons fielded by the UNSC and Covenant and to provide a balanced and competitive experience.
Here it is: the new Prowler for the UNSC. It'll be a stealth mine layer equipped with EMP cannons. Hopefully, if Zero is feeling up to it, the fins on the side will fold up/down (hence two sets of pics).
Enjoy.
very cool, Silly question: how big is this type of prowler going to be compared to other UNSC ships? I only ask because if I remember correctly prowlers were more of a fairly varied type of ship then a single size class.
Fairly small probably about the same size as the currant UNSC corvettes in game, definitely smaller than frigates.
hmmmm will there be a limit to how many mines it can lay at any given moment ?? cause if not i sense a huge mine abuse :D but otherwise the model is stunning piece of aaaaart :D
Thank you, and most likely yes on the limit to the number of mines considering their power as nuclear devices, though nothing is confirmed obviously.
Probably about the same as the current Prowler. They can lay infinite mines since that value isn't changeable, but how many mines appear on screen will be the same so if you don't lay your mines properly, you'll just have them disappear.
guys I have seen this mod grow and change probably since the day you posted it here.... you came a loooooong way and I think I will speak for vast majority of sentient species in the known multiverse when I say that you are doing fcking awesome job :) I know its off topic here just wanted to say it :D
that ship looks like it gives off the best wifi signals.
Oh it does, that's almost it's main function, no one can live without wifi :P
I know this sounds a little bit odd, but perhaps the Spaceborne Early Warning and Control System would need a second module on the underside, for efficient sensor redundancy?
I'm not quite sure what you mean by this?
That round thing. It's a Spaceborne Early Warning and Control system, right? Like the AWACS that some support aircraft carry.
basically a fire control tower withe proximity sensor thrown in?
Oh it's kind of like a radome I guess, kind of like the thing on the bottom of the Kopis. So yeah, pretty much a spaceborne AEWACS.
Oh, this is so much better than the SotP one, you really needed that.
This one is obviously more influenced by canon while still giving it a more stylized feel.
