High Hoops is one of Jimmy T.'s microgames found in the Sports folder in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! and returns as one of his microgames in the Sports set within the Mash League in WarioWare Gold.
Gameplay[edit]
A man holding a basketball continuously jumps next to a basketball hoop. When the man is at the peak of his jump, the player must press the button to throw the ball into the hoop. As the difficulty increases, the hoop gets higher, making it harder to hit. If the player throws the ball into the hoop, the player wins. If the player throws the ball into the rim and not in the hoop, the player loses. In WarioWare Gold, the man dribbles the ball before someone whistles, indicating that the man may throw the ball.
- Level 1: The hoop is a bit low.
- Level 2: The hoop is slightly high.
- Level 3: The hoop is considerably high.
Naming[edit]
The microgame's name is a portmanteau of the phrase "high hopes" and the basketball term "hoop."
