Today - Sunday 2nd November

Cloud gradually building from the west, followed by patchy rain and drizzle, turning heavier into the evening. Brighter further east and remaining dry in parts until after dark. Highest afternoon temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees in moderate to fresh southwest winds.

Tonight - Sunday 2nd November

Wet and blustery tonight as rain extends eastwards bringing localised flooding across western counties. Misty in places too. The rain will turn more scattered later in the night. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees in fresh to strong southwesterly winds.

Tomorrow - Monday 3rd November

Monday will be dull and blustery with further spells of rain, heaviest across the western half of the country. Humid and relatively mild with highest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees, all in a fresh to strong southwest wind.

Outlook

Overview: Unsettled with frequent spells of wet and breezy weather. Relatively mild and frost free however in a southwest airflow.

Monday night: Spells of wet and blustery weather, mainly across southern and eastern counties, bringing localised flooding. A very mild night with lowest temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees, in fresh and gusty southwest winds.

Tuesday: Scattered outbreaks of rain with some heavy bursts. The rain will be mainly confined to northwest areas by late afternoon with some late bright or sunny spells. Mild with highest temperatures of 12 to 16 degrees, in moderate to fresh southwest winds.

Wednesday: Some uncertainty but current indicatgiosn suggest it will be a wet day with spells of thundery rain moving up from the south. Misty in places too. Mild with highest tempertures of 12 to 15 degrees, in moderate southeasterly winds.

Thursday: Still some uncertainty but low pressure will bring variable conditions across the country.

Further outlook: An Atlantic flow will dominate with showers or longer spells of rain.
