UrlShortener screen

The UrlShortener extension provides a basic URL shortening service as a MediaWiki extension.

Background

It was originally designed to implement the Url Shortener request for comment from 2012.

Usage

1. Paste your long URL into the text field
2. Press "Shorten" button
3. Shortened URL is then displayed and available for use
