This hour is now open to first-come, first served and will happen at Crystal Springs for now. Since this will be YOUR PRIVATE hour, should you choose to share it with someone else, it is still the flat fee indicated for one. This can be a weekly or one-time Friday afternoon PRIVATE meetup for you and/or your friends and family (up to three). Please NOTICE that we may meet earlier for fall-winter and or shift the venue (due to the early darkness and minimal lighting in the area.) Thanks for your understanding. What makes this workout different? For most players, it is the ability to master net play as well as enhancing the ground-strokes to create 'all-court' game, coverage, control, balance, finesse, flexibility, ... altogether low-impact (on the joints) effective play. Here is a little information on my background. I have been coaching tennis for well over two decades. When the 'tennis powers that be' decided to turn our graceful, exciting sport into a boring baseline slug fest, tossing out the classic backhand with the bathwater, I resisted and have trained countless players in the traditional fundamentals of tennis which lead to effortless all-court coverage, accuracy, variety, finesse and power... About 50% of our focus over the decades has been on the 'Inner Game' which creates the perfect balance to our workouts. Side benefits for those who follow my guidance are greatly decreased incidence of tennis related injuries. I am a 'player-coach', and have never experienced more than an occasional minor strain that clears up within minutes to hours usually, but always fewer than 48 hours. Meetup has it's limitations, one of which is the locked in 'per person' designation on the fee. IF this will be a solo workout for yourself the suggested contribution is about 3 times that for members of a group. (There is a non-meetup member and friend who attends most weeks and this hour is listed on our sister Meetup, thus a very good chance that this will be a group.) We always begin an hour from a 'tai chi' perspective versus a 'kung fu' one. No particular experience required for this hour, as we will address your abilities and concerns at this time.
