The Audi R8 Competition ($TBA) is looking to make a major entrance at the LA Auto Show on Thursday, November 19th. Touted as the fastest car ever made by Audi, the new sports car features some amazing specs to back up that claim. The New R8 will make its debut with a 5.2L V10 570-HP engine paired with a 7-speed trans, and sport exhaust system. The whole kit gets the R8 to 60 miles per hour in just 3.2 seconds with a top speed of about 199 mph.
On the exterior, it features a slew of matte carbon fiber components including the rear spoiler, engine bay, mirror housings, front spoiler, rear diffuser, and side blades. The interior is also splashed with a little carbon on the center console and door sill inlays. The wheels are gloss black and wrapped in 305 cross-section tires, with stopping facilitated by ceramic brakes with red anodized calipers.
If you want one of these bad boys you can place your order later this year with delivery expected early 2015. Only 60 units will be produced. The price of the beauty has yet to be released but rumors put it near $200K.
