This Privacy Policy explains how Noah Audio collects, uses, stores, and shares personal data when you visit
www.noahaudio.com, use Noah Audio Account, download or use a Noah Audio
product, or interact with our projects and related support channels. This page is written with
Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 ("PDPA") first in mind, and also includes supplemental
disclosures for U.S. privacy expectations and state privacy-rights frameworks.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Noah Audio website, Noah Audio Account and its sign-in service, Noah Audio
product downloads, our projects, and direct communications with Noah Audio about those products and services.
When you use Noah Audio Account to sign in to a registered third-party application, this policy covers Noah
Audio's identity service and the information it releases with your approval. It does not cover how that
third party uses information after receiving it; its own privacy policy applies to that use.
2. Personal Data We Collect
Information you provide
- Your email address, account display name, authentication credentials, consent choices, and any information you include when you contact us.
- Support, feedback, or business inquiry details you choose to send.
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical request data typically recorded by web servers, such as IP address, browser type, device type, date and time, referrer, and requested files.
- Download request details needed to deliver installer files and protect site security.
- Account security events, registered passkey metadata, connected-application identifiers, requested scopes, consent and revocation times, and token or session security metadata. Noah Audio does not receive the biometric data used by your device to unlock a passkey.
Information stored on your device
- This site stores a language preference named
nr-lang. When you sign in, the account pages also store the customer session needed to keep you signed in. Noah Audio Account authorization uses secure, HTTP-only cookies that browser scripts cannot read.
- When you use Noah Rigs, the standalone app or plugin may process locally stored presets, preset names, exported or imported preset files, audio-device settings, and bundled product assets required for operation.
- Noah Rigs also includes built-in IR and NAM content distributed as part of the product. Those bundled assets are copyrighted content belonging to Noah Audio and/or its licensors and are not treated in this policy as public-domain or user-contributed assets.
- Audio-device selections and similar operational settings may also be processed locally to run the product.
3. How We Use Personal Data
- To operate, secure, and maintain this website.
- To create and protect Noah Audio accounts, authenticate users, remember approved connections, issue identity tokens, and let users revoke third-party access.
- To provide requested downloads and respond to enquiries, support requests, or business communications.
- To enable Noah Rigs product functions that rely on local preset data, bundled IR and NAM assets, and device-configuration data stored on your device.
- To troubleshoot errors, prevent abuse, and protect the integrity of our services.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms, rights, and legitimate business interests.
4. Singapore PDPA Notice and Contact Point
For Singapore PDPA purposes, Noah Audio makes this policy publicly available as part of its data-protection
practices and uses [email protected] as the public contact
channel for privacy and data-protection matters relating to the website, Noah Rigs, and the Noah-Guitar-Rig project.
5. Legal Bases and Compliance Position
Where Singapore law applies, we generally rely on consent where you voluntarily provide information to us,
and on business, operational, security, or legal-necessity grounds where the PDPA allows. Where U.S. state
privacy laws apply, we aim to provide notice, access channels, correction handling, deletion review, and
opt-out information where relevant to our actual data practices.
6. Cookies, Local Storage, and Similar Technologies
At the time of this update, this website does not use advertising cookies or cross-site behavioral tracking
scripts on the main site pages we control. We use local storage for your language preference and signed-in
customer session, and secure cookies for authentication transactions, Noah Audio Account single sign-on,
security, and the separate Backstage administrator session. You can clear browser-side preferences on the
Your Privacy Choices page or through your browser settings. Signing out and
revoking connected applications are the appropriate controls for active account and SSO sessions.
7. Sharing of Personal Data
We may share personal data with service providers or infrastructure providers that help us host, secure, or
operate this website, subject to appropriate contractual or operational safeguards. We may also disclose data:
- With a registered third-party application when you approve its sign-in request. Every approved application receives a pairwise account identifier; it receives profile or email information only when the corresponding scope is displayed and approved.
- To comply with law, regulation, court order, or lawful government request.
- To investigate fraud, security issues, or misuse of our services.
- In connection with a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer.
Based on the current site implementation and the currently reviewed Noah Rigs flows, Noah Audio does not sell personal information and does not use this website for cross-context behavioral advertising.
8. International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries outside your place of residence. Where Singapore's PDPA applies,
we aim to ensure transferred personal data receives a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA through
contractual, technical, or organisational safeguards appropriate to the context.
9. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy,
including support, security, legal, accounting, and record-keeping needs. When data is no longer reasonably required,
we will delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it where practical and legally permitted.
Product files such as presets and local configuration data are generally managed on your own device or chosen
storage locations. Bundled IR and NAM assets shipped with Noah Rigs remain part of the product package unless
removed or replaced through product updates. How long local files remain available will depend on your own
device and folder management unless Noah Audio separately stores a copy.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal data from
unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Singapore Privacy Rights
Where the PDPA applies, you may generally request to:
- Withdraw consent, subject to legal or operational limits and the consequences of withdrawal.
- Request access to personal data in our possession or control and information about how it was used or disclosed, subject to exceptions.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.

Depending on your U.S. state of residence and the applicability thresholds of local law, you may have rights to request:
- Access to or confirmation of personal data we process about you.
- Correction of inaccurate personal data.

- A copy of personal data you provided to us, where required by law.
- Opt-out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling activities, if those practices apply.
- Non-discriminatory treatment for exercising applicable privacy rights.

13. Product-Specific Privacy Notes for Noah Rigs
- Noah Rigs includes bundled IR and NAM assets as part of the shipped product experience, and those bundled assets are copyrighted.
- Based on the currently reviewed website and product flows, Noah Rigs does not use the website as a hidden telemetry channel for local preset or configuration files.
- If you contact support and voluntarily send presets, logs, screenshots, audio settings, or copies of product-related files, Noah Audio may use those materials to investigate and respond to your request.
14. Children's Privacy
This website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly
collect personal information online from children under 13 in a manner that would trigger U.S. COPPA obligations.
If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, contact us and we will review and delete it where appropriate.
15. Third-Party Links and Stores
If you follow links to third-party sites or download products through third-party platforms, their privacy practices
apply to their handling of your information. Please review their policies separately.
16. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Material changes will take effect when posted unless a different effective date is stated.
