Demonstration of basic technique.

Setup
Pair-up with someone around the same height. Elect who will start as the attacker. Use the full width of the court, starting in the middle and working towards the wings. Use transverse lines and sidelines as markers for 4 x pairs, use 3-5 cones to mark lanes for extra pairs.
Step 1
Attacker (A) and defender (B) stand facing one another about 1m apart, and must stay this distance apart at all times.
Step 2
(A) uses small, fast side-steps as if to get around their defender. (B) must shadow their opponent (A) and remain directly in front through
fast feet.
For this first progression, don't use random changes of direction, just run 7m left, back to centre, 7m right, etc.
Players move laterally, not forwards
Step 3
Swap roles after 30 seconds
Step 4
Progression: Allow (A) to make a random
change of direction
(left or right) at any time, which (B) must quickly adjust to.
