So Many Books, So Little Time Card by Donna Idlet

So Many Books!

This fun book themed card by Donna is perfect for sending a cheerful greeting to a book enthusiast!

To create this adorable card she started by cutting out books in a rainbow of colors. She used our Bookmark II Die Set for the book silhouettes and cut them out of patterned papers from our Bright Basics Paper Pad. She cut the images out again from solid colored cardstock and layered in the ovals and rectangles on the book ends. She also cut out a cat using our Cat Silhouettes Die Set and she stamped and colored the clock from our Never Enough Books Stamp Set, cutting it out using the coordinating Never Enough Books Die Set.

Next, she created a bookshelf scene using all of these elements. She stenciled a background pattern using our Basketweave Stencil with a light gray ink on white cardstock. She then cut this panel out using the rectangle from our Basic Frames Die Set to give it a fun stitched edge. She also cut out a brown striped patterned paper strip from our Coffee House Stories Paper Pad. She also cut this strip again using the rectangle from our Basic Frames Die Set so that she could layer it over the background and have the stitching match up. Finally, she added the books, cat and alarm clock onto the shelf. 

For a message she added "So many nooks, so little time" from our Never Enough Books Stamp Set. She also framed the whole panel with a black postage edged frame, cut out using our Framework Die Set. 

What a fun way to combine all these great products together! The cheerful rainbow of books is sure to brighten the day of any book lover!

Happy Easter Card with Peeps by Zsofia Molnar

Easter Kitties & Peeps!

Today Zsofia has created a fun Easter card filled with easter peeps and kitties! 

She started out by stamping the adorable images of Newton and the chicks from our Newton's Peeps Stamp Set. She also stamped some extra chicks and little flowers using the same set. She colored all the images using a fun spring color palette filled with yellow, green and orange. The images were all cut out using the coordinating  Newton's Peeps Die Set. She created a little scene for the kitties by cutting out a mint green rectangle using our Framework Die Set and adding a layer of grass using our Land Borders Die Set. Then she tucked all the images around the grass. Isn't it cute how the kitty is peeking out from behind it!? She also added the sentiment, stamped onto a bubble that was cut out using our Speech Bubbles Die Set. So cute!

For her card, she started with a white card base and added a fun layer of pattern, created using our Basketweave Stencil in brown ink over a light brown paper. She cut this panel out using the postage stamp edged die from our Framework Die Set and layered it behind her scene. That basket pattern really adds to the fun Easter theme!

Lucky Dog Card by Amanda Wilcox

Lucky Dog!

Today we are sharing an adorable dog themed card by Amanda.

This fun card features the puppy holding a four leaf clover from our Lucky Dog Stamp Set. She colored the image in neutral colors and added the fun pop of green on the clover. She also added sparkle to the clover and gloss to the nose on the dog. So cute! She cut this image out along with the little hearts using the coordinating Lucky Dog Die Set. 

For her card, she ink blended two background shapes. She used our Basketweave Stencil with brown ink on brown paper. She also added gold paint splatters to the brown paper and cut it out into a heart shape using our Heart Frames Die Set. For the second pattern she used our Petite Hearts Stencil with pale pink ink on a light pink paper. She cut the heart pattern out using the stitched square die from our Frames Squared Die Set. She also cut out a black decorative square shape using the Frames Squared Die Set. She layered all of the die cut shapes and added the puppy to the front. She also added the message "lucky dog" onto a small circle shape that was cut out using the Frames Squared Die Set.

This is such a fun and unique card layout, don't you think? All the layers and patterns really add so much interest and detail!

Meow's it Going? Slimline Card by Amanda Wilcox

Meows it Going?

What is better than receiving a happy hello in the mail? Today we're sharing a card by Amanda that would certainly make someone smile if they found it in their mailbox!

For this adorable card, Amanda features the trio of kitties playing outdoors from our Captivated Kittens Stamp Set. She stamped and colored each image using gorgeous spring tones and giving each kitty a different fur color. Then she cut the trio out using the coordinating Captivated Kittens Die Set. 

For the card base, she choose to create a slimline card to give room to showcase all three images! She inked the card base with the fun pattern from our Basketweave Stencil. Then she used our Slimline Frames & Windows Die Set to cut a frame. This is perfect because it has three square windows and each kitty gets his own little scene. Inside each window frame she used our Clouds Stencil and Hills & Grass Stencil to create the little scenes. Then she assembled it all together, using dimensional adhesives to give the images some height. 

For the sentiment, she used our Speech Bubbles Die Set to cut a speech bubble and stamped "Meow's it going" inside. So adorable!

Happy Mother's Day Card by Maria Russell

 

Mother's Day Greeting! 

Today we are sharing a beautiful Mother's Day Greeting created by Maria! 

For her card she used the beautiful oval floral frame from our Best Mom Oval Stamp Set, coloring all the flowers in fun bright colors. She used the Oval Frames Die Set to cut the image out with a scalloped edge. Then she hand cut around the inside edge of the flowers to make it into a frame. Such a lovely idea! 

For the card she created a beautiful background panel using our Basketweave Stencil with white texture paste over a light pink background. This really adds such a fun spring feeling to the card. She cut it out to be slightly smaller than her white card and then layered the floral frame on top in the center. 

She embossed the Happy Mother's Day" sentiment from the Best Mom Oval Stamp Set in white on black cardstock and cut it out by hand before adding it to the center of her card. A few gold gems add a lovely finishing touch! 

 

This lovely card is perfect for Mother's Day but you could easily add a different sentiment in the center to make this into a spring birthday or friendship card too!

Happy Easter to my Peeps Card by Samantha Mann

Easter Peeps! 

Today we are getting ready for Easter fun with this adorable card by Samantha!

For this sweet Easter card she used the fun image of Newton and a whole basket of chicks from our Newton's Peeps Stamp Set. She did some amazing coloring on the image, using mostly neutral tones with pops of bright pink for a fun and unique easter greeting! The pink cheeks and white gel pen accents really give this image an extra special touch! She cut out the image and one extra little chick using the coordinating Newton's Peeps Die Set. 

Then, for her card base, she created a fun basket background using our Basketweave Stencil with texture paste for a fun raised pattern. She cut a circle out of the top half of the panel using our Circle Frames Die Set and inked a pink and peach sky behind the opening. This is the perfect place to set that kitty image! 

For he adorable sentiment she cut a black banner using our Banner Trio Die Set. Then she created a custom sentiment by embossing the first part of the sentiment from our Newton's Peeps Stamp Set  in white and masking off the word Peeps. Then she added the word peeps back in by die cutting the letters using our Essential Alphabet Die Set. This creates a fun big word that really gets the point across! She also inked the letters to match the ink blending on the circle! WOW!

Hoppy Easter Card by Tatiana Trafimovich

Happy Easter!

Today Tatiana is jumping ahead to share Easter inspiration with an amazing bright and colorful bunny card! 

For this card, Tatiana used the no line coloring technique to color the images from our Hop into Spring Stamp Set. She stamped the images with a very light colored ink so that the edges of the image would be hidden underneath her coloring. She used masking to overlap two images, using both the image of the bunny and basket and the image of the bunny holding an egg. Then she colored the images using Karin Brushmarkers for the beautiful bright colors. 

This colorful scene really makes card so she kept the layout simple. She used our  Frames & Flags Die Set to cut out the white panel with a rounded stitched edge. The banner from the Frames & Flags Die Set also is the perfect spot for the sentiment. For the card base she used our Basketweave Stencil over kraft colored cardstock to add a basket pattern, perfect to go with the Easter theme!

Mother's Day Card by Farhana Sarker

Happy Mother's Day! 

Have you thought about Mother's Day yet? Today we are sharing a card by Farhana that would be sure to make any mother smile!

For her card she features that gorgeous bunch of blooms from our  Daffodils Stamp Set, coloring them in shades of cheery yellow. She used the coordinating Daffodils Die Set to cut the image out and layered it over a fun shaker card window! 

To create this shaker card, she first used our Floral Roundabout Stamp Set and embossed the big round image in white. She inked over it with a blending of several ink colors for that gorgeous background. 

Next she cut created a white card front with subtle texture by dry embossing with our  Basketweave Stencil. She then cut a large circle out of this panel using our Circle Frames Die Set, which perfectly frames that floral inked background. She made this into a shaker window and added pretty sequins inside that coordinated with the colors! So beautiful! 

The finishing touch is the "Happy Mother's Day" sentiment, stamped from our Mom & Dad Stamp Set onto a stitched banner that was die cut using our Banner Trio Die Set.

Fall Themed Card Duo by Farhana Sarker

A Fun Fall Duo!

Today we are sharing two beautiful fall cards by Farhana. These two cards are similar in layout but use different fall products. Let's take a look! 

Her first card is fall themed thank you:

To create this lovely card she first dry embossed the basketweave pattern onto a kraft colored card base using our Basketweave Stencil with an embossing machine to give the card a subtle texture. She then cut a circle out of the front using our Circle Frame Die Set. She stamped the beautiful image of leaves in a circle from our Fall Roundabout Stamp Set on the inside panel of the card, lining it up so that it fit behind the circle cut out. Then she stamped and colored the kitty from our Paw-tumn Newton Stamp Set and cut the image out using the coordinating Paw-tumn Newton Die Set. She layered this onto the front of the card along with the "give thanks" sentiment from the Fall Roundabout Stamp Set, stamped onto a banner that was die cut using our Banner Trio Die Set. So adorable!

Her second card is a fun fall themed card using a similar layout:

For this card she started out the same, dry embossing the basketweave pattern onto the kraft colored card base using our Basketweave Stencil. This time instead of a circle, she die cut a scalloped heart out of the front using our Heart Frames Die Set. On the inside panel she stamped the image of leaves in a heart shape from our Heartfelt Fall Stamp Set. Then she stamped and colored the sign with all the fun fall images surrounding it from our Signs of Fall Stamp Set. Aren't those light green pumpkins beautiful!? This set has a bunch of sentiments that fit on the sign and she chose to use the word "welcome" embossed in white. The image was then cut out using the coordinating Signs of Fall Die Set. 

We hope this set of cards has inspired you! It really shows you how once you have one card layout designed, you can easily change it up by changing out the image or shape!
