Newton's Nook Designs is Sponsoring the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!

Have you heard of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge? When I first noticed this challenge blog I thought the idea was adorable and just knew we had to sponsor a challenge! For each challenge they post a YUMMY cupcake photo and color combo for inspiration! Everybody likes cupcakes, right?

The current challenge going up today features this yummy image:

Of course I had to play along -- here's the card I created with this yummy chocolate and orange color combo. I used our favorite kitty, Newton, from our Newton's Holiday Mischief set. I colored him orange with a two toned brown scarf using distress markers and a water brush on watercolor paper. Then I added the "grateful" sentiment from our Falling into Autumn set. I also used some leaves from the Falling into Autumn set to create a fun background on some orange textured cardstock.

To finish off the design I added some "woodgrain" sequins (LOVE these) - and some orange and white ones along with a bit of patterned paper and some gold and cream bakers twine! I love this cozy fall card!

Today I'm sharing a super fun Magnet set by Crafty Math-Chick! She used our leaf images from the Falling into Autumn stamp set to create this adorable little set. The magnets are so cute - and I love that she also made a coordinating gift box! What a great idea for a special little gift  - I think you could easily do a holiday theme too and make stocking stuffers!
