Movie Night Card and Box by Ellen Haxelmans

How About a Movie Night?!

Do you love movies? Today Ellen had created a set of projects that is perfect for a movie night! She started out with a card featuring the trio of kitties in a movie theater from our Newton's Movie Night Stamp Set.

Isn't the coloring on those kitties amazing? She also colored a pair of 3D glasses and some popcorn kernels and cut the images out using the coordinating Newton's Movie Night Die Set. For the background she used our Popcorn Stencil with light colored ink to create a popcorn pattern on scalloped square that was cut out using our Frames Squared Die Set. She also cut out a red square with rounded corners using the same die set to frame it.

Inside the card, is the fun "movie night" sentiment, added onto a tag shape (cut out using our Framework Die Set). She also added more popcorn, cut out using the bonus shape on the coordinating Newton's Movie Night Die Set.

To make it even more fun, she created a decoration for a popcorn box! For this she cut out shapes using our  Circle Frame Die Set and Heart Frame Die Set. Then she used the same Popcorn Stencil for the background and added the sentiment, 3D glasses, popcorn and stars using our Newton's Movie Night Stamp Set.

Below we have some details from Ellen on how she colored and created the images for this set:

1. (left photo) The images from the Newton's Movie Night Stamp Set are colored with Zig Clear Color Brush Markers, listed below:
   1. Orange Cat: No.052 Bright Yellow, No.070 Orange, No. 72 Beige and No.222 Pink Flamingo
   2. Brown cat: No.064 Oatmeal No.068 Deep Brown and No 222 Pink Flamingo
   3. Seats: No.022 Carmine Red and No.095 Dark Grey
   4. Glasses: No.036 Light Blue, No.022 Carmine Red and No.095 Dark Grey
   5. Food: No260 Deep Red, No.049 Green Shadow, No067 Mustard, No050 Yellow, No.036 Light Blue and No.092 Blue Gray
   
   
2. (center photo) Cut out a square and heart shape. Use the Popcorn Stencil with Antique Linen Distress Ink. Afterwards you ink the sides with Vintage Photo Distress ink; this gives it a light burned look (yummy). As last step I sprinkled some drops on top. The same inks where used on the popcorn shapes.
   
   
3. (right photo) As last step I die cut out some colored paper. The colors I used were picked to match with the image and popcorn box: red, white and yellow.

Movie Night Card by Amanda Wilcox

Movies + Popcorn = perfect night!

If you enjoy going to the movies or watching them at home, you will love today's card by Amanda! This card features that cute trio of kitties from our Newton's Movie Night Stamp Set. She colored the kitties along with some popcorn and 3D glasses in neutral tones, letting the bright colors on the 3D glasses, popcorn and candy pop! She cut all the images out using the Newton's Movie Night Die Set to add them to her card.  For the background of her card she used our Popcorn Stencil and used transfer gel and a laminator to add white flocking to the popcorn! For more fun detail, she used yellow chalk to add some butter onto the popcorn too! She used our Framework Die Set to add the postage edge to the popcorn background and also to the rectangle that holds the sentiment!

Here is a close-up so you can see her lovely coloring. The added white gel pen details really add some extra dimension too:

Movie Night Card by Andrea Shell

Movie Night!

Love going to the movies? You'll love this adorable card by Andrea today! She created this fun movie themed card featuring the trio of kitties from our Newton's Movie Night Stamp Set. She colored those kitties with Copic markers and added cute little details and stripes to them too. She also colored 3 pair of 3D glasses from the set and added those on for a fun extra touch! She used the coordinating Newton's Movie Night Die Set to cut the images out. For her card background she cut out a panel with the fun ticket edge using the Framework Die Set and added popcorn inside it using our Popcorn Stencil. She added three blue tickets, also cut out using the Framework Die Set, with the words "movie night" embossed inside each one! If you look closely, you can see the tickets also have a subtle star background that was stenciled on them using our Cascading Stars Stencil!

To finish off the fun, she added in some die cut popcorn kernels that were cut out using the bonus popcorn shapes that are included with the coordinating Newton's Movie Night Die Set.  All these products go perfectly together to create such a fun themed card!

Cats at the Movies Card and Video with Textured Popcorn by Tatiana Trafimovich

Movies, Popcorn, and Kitties! 

Who's going to the movies this weekend? Newton and his friends are headed out on this adorable card by Tatiana! For this adorable card she used the fun image of three kitties at the movie theater from our Newton's Movie Night Stamp Set. Isn't it so cute how she colored those kitties, especially the stripes on the kitty covering his eyes! She cut the image out using the coordinating Newton's Movie Night Die Set. Then she layered it over an amazing background filled with popcorn! The popcorn was created using our Popcorn Stencil. Scroll down to see a video by Tatiana on how she created this fun effect!

May Reveals - Day 1 - Newton's Movie Night Stamp Set + 2 New Stencils

Today is our first reveal day for our May Release! Our release this month will have a variety of fun themes and we hope you will find something to love! Newton's Movie Night!

Newton is enjoying a movie night out on this cute 4x4 stamp set! These three kitty friends are so cute watching a movie together with their popcorn and treats. Use this fun image for invitations to a movie party, or just to send a hello to a fellow movie buff! Add the 3D glasses onto one of the kitties and use the stars and popcorn for fun backgrounds! Samantha created a whole theater of kitties for her movie card! She stamped the image from our Newton's Movie Night Stamp Set all over her background in black and added a fun glow of light to focus in the center. In this spotlight she added and image with the kitties in full color and wearing their 3D glasses! 

Time to head to the movies with this fun card by Amanda! She colored the trio of kitties from our Newton's Movie Night Stamp Set using fun vibrant colors and gave them blue and red movie chairs! Then she added in Popcorn and Stars using the coordinating die set and created a fun background using our Popcorn Stencil!

This amazing card was created by Ellen using the new Newton's Movie Night Stamp Set! She colored those kitties with copics and gave them so many fun details with dots and strips. then she layered them over a background that was stenciled using our new Popcorn Stencil! She also added a postage edged frame and a ticket shape using our Framework Die Set.

The kitties on this card by Tatiana could not be any cuter in their pink movie chairs! She colored the trio of kitties from our Newton's Movie Night Stamp Set in super bright and vibrant colors! The layered them over a popcorn background that was created using our Popcorn Stencil and framed with a die cut edge that was created using our Frames & Flags Die Set. What a perfect invitation to a movie night! 

The background on this fun card by Naki mimics a box of movie theater popcorn! She used red striped paper on the bottom and added popcorn to the top using our Popcorn Stencil! She added the image of kitties from the Newton's Movie Night Stamp Set, coloring it in just shades of black for a fun movie effect. She also cut out a ticket using our Framework Die Set!

Andrea created a fun movie-themed shaker card! She used the rounded edge square from our Frames Squared Die Set to create a shaker window. In the yellow background you can see some fun popcorn shapes created with our Popcorn Stencil. Then she colored the trio of kitties from our Newton's Movie Night Stamp Set and layered them at the bottom of the shaker! So cute! 

The teal movie seats on this card by Zsofia are so awesome! She also colored the kitties from our Newton's Movie Night Stamp Set with such fun details, adding shading and stripes!  For her background she also used the Popcorn Stencil with texture paste to create a whole sky of popcorn! 

Maria created this adorable movie scene using the kitties from our from our Newton's Movie Night Stamp Set and placing them onto a corner of wooden flooring! She added fun spots and stripes to the kitties and popcorn and 3D glasses are scattered over the floor! She also added  fun texture to the background using our Popcorn Stencil!

This movie card by Holly is so fun and playful! She colored the kitties from our from our Newton's Movie Night Stamp Set, giving them fun fur colors and patterns. Then she layered them over a fun buttery popcorn background that was created using the new Cascading Stars Stencil and Popcorn Stencil. She also used our Frames & Flags Die Set to cut out the stitched edge rectangle and the banner that holds the sentiment. 

This trio of friends is ready for a fun movie night! Larissa created this cute card using the kitties from our Newton's Movie Night Stamp Set. She colored the kitties in light brown adding fun speckles. Then she added them over a woodgrain paper and added some yellow popcorn to the background using our newPopcorn Stencil! She also used our  Framework Die Set for the postage edged panel and the ticket shape and our Frames & Flags Die Set for the red banner!
