Relax & Unwind!

Today we are unwinding some fun with Samantha. This fun project features a creative combination of words and images that will definitely make you smile!

She started off by using the adorable image of the kitty hugging a big ball of twine from our Newton Unwinds Stamp Set. She stamped the image 3 times and colored each kitty gray. She colored the giant balls of yarn in an ombre colors to complete a rainbow. She added sweet pink cheeks to the kitties and white gel pen accents to her coloring. The images were all cut out using the coordinating Newton Unwinds Die Set. 

To create her card she added some black splatters to a white card base and then added the images with all their balls of yarn pointed to the center. The message "Relax & Unwind" was added to center. The sentiment was die cut the bonus words that are included with the Porch Swing Friends Die Set. To give the sentiment height she cut them several times and then glued and stacked them together. 

This whimsical card will is perfect for sending a cheerful hello to a friend!

Dog & Cat Friendship Card by Donna Idlet

Life is Better with a Friend Like You!

Today we are sharing a cozy friendship card created by Donna that would be perfect for sending to a pet lover!

To create this adorable card she began by stamping the image of the dog and cat snuggling on the swing from our Porch Swing Friends Stamp Set. She choose a paper pattern that she wanted to use from our Love & Meows Paper Pad and colored the image using colors that matched the paper! This is a great way to choose a color palette if you're not sure what colors to use on an image! 

The image was cut out using the coordinating Porch Swing Friends Die Set. Then she cut out a scallop edged rectangle using our  Framework Die Set to layer the behind the image. She added a bit of light blue ink onto the rectangle. This really helps the image pop! She also added the sentiment "Life is better with a friend like you" from the Porch Swing Friends Stamp Set along the bottom and added a glossy heart next to it. She also added hearts to the top strings on the swing. So cute! 

This cozy scene is sure to make the recipient feel loved!

Thinking of You Card by Larissa Heskett

Thinking of You! 

Today we are sharing a sweet thinking of you card created by Larissa. This adorable card featuring the cozy kitty and puppy sharing a swing on our  Porch Swing Friends Stamp Set. This sweet duo will warm your heart! She colored this cute image using a gorgeous spring color palette of purple, teal and yellow with added white gel pen details. The image is cut out using the coordinating Porch Swing Friends Die Set. Then she layered it over circles that were cut out using our Circle Frames Die Set. A bit of light teal ink blending in the background really helps the images to pop! She also added the "Thinking of You" sentiment onto the lower corner from the Floral Roundabout Stamp Set. Some sweet sparkly sequins give this card a special finishing touch!

With a Friend Like You Card by Andrea Shell

Summer Friends!

Today we have a gorgeous friendship card created by Andrea. She features the sweet image of the dog and cat sharing a swing from our Porch Swing Friends Stamp Set. She colored this duo in gorgeous bright colors using alcohol markers, adding fun patterns to the kitties fur! The image was cu out using the coordinating Porch Swing Friends Die Set to add to her card.

To make this image into a scene she created a fun tree for the swing to hang from. To do this she cut out a green tree canopy using the cloud shape from our Sky Borders Die Set and inking the shape in pretty greens! Then she added a tall tree on each side using the birch tree cut outs from our Forest Scene Builders Die Set. Along the bottom a layer of grass was added using our Land Borders Die Set. The blue card base serves perfectly for the sky! She added the sentiment "Life is better with a friend like you" from our Porch Swing Friends Stamp Set along the edge of the grass. So lovely!

This card is perfect for sending relaxing summer wishes to a friend!

Tina creates a serene scene, perfect for a celebrating a relaxing day! She features the images of the cat and dog snuggling on our Porch Swing Friends Stamp Set, coloring it in gorgeous colors. She layers the image over a woodsy setting, created using our Evergreens Stencil and Sky Scene Builders Die Set. Then she frames the image with a frame cut out using two dies from our Frames & Flags Die Set, adding string to tops of the swing for a special touch! 

This exquisite slimline shaker card was created by Larissa. She combined frames from both our Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set and our Slimline Frames & Windows Die Set to create a fun shaker frame with three windows. Inside the shaker windows she added three beautifully colored roses from our Roses Stamp Set and some iridescent sequins for a lovely sparkle!

The kitty and puppy on this scene are having such a relaxing time! Zsofia created an adorable setting for the card using our Sky Borders Die Set for the tree top and our  Forest Scene Builder Die Set for the tree trunks. The friends from our Porch Swing Friends Stamp Set look perfect, hanging from the tree. She also used the "Relax & unwind" word die cut that is included in the coordinating Porch Swing Friends Die Set.

This stunning floral card was created by Tatiana. She the cluster of blooms from our new Roses Stamp Set, stamping and watercoloring it twice. She stacked the images and added them to a scallop edged panel that was cut out using our Frames & Flags Die Set. She added the "hello" embossed in gold onto a vellum circle that was cut out using the new Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set. 

Maria crafted a beautiful friendship card, featuring our Porch Swing Friends Stamp Set. She colored the dog and cat napping on the swing in lovely colors. Then she crafted a fun porch scene, adding a floorboards and then light teal patterned wallpaper with our Serene Stripes Stencil.  A potted cacti helps set the scene, added in from our Cultivated Cacti Stamp Set. 

Naki's beautiful card is perfect for sending relaxing wishes to friend! She embossed the image of the cat and dog from our Porch Swing Friends Stamp Set in white to give it soft edges. Then she colored it in gorgeous soft hues with pops of navy and yellow on the blankets. She added the die cut sentiment from sparkly paper. She also added a lovely scalloped edge using our Frames & Flags Die Set. This card truly has a relaxing vibe!

Andrea created a gorgeous slimline card filled with floral blooms! She used our Slimline Frames & Portholes Die Set to cut out the layers and added blue distress ink to the front layer. She then colored three sets of roses from the new Roses Stamp Set, tucking them into each circle opening. The sentiment "You are Amazing" was added on from the Floral Roundabout Stamp Set, embossed onto a banner cut out using our Banner Trio Die Set.

Samantha created a stunning starry night scene for her card today. She created stenciled a sky of navy colored clouds using our Clouds Stencil and then added stars on top using our Starfield Stencil with white texture paste. Then she colored the cozy dog and cat image from our new Porch Swing Friends Stamp Set in fun rainbow colors and layered it over the top. The sentiment was added onto a vellum banner cut out with our Banner Trio Die Set. 

This yellow rose card by Ellen is truly breathtaking! She colored the cluster of blooms from our Roses Stamp Set in vibrant shades of yellow. Then she framed the image with a yellow frame using our Framework Die Set. For the card background she created a tiny yellow and orange flower pattern using our Petite Flowers Stencil. She framed this panel with a yellow scalloped frame cut out with our Frames & Flags Die Set.

This friendship cay by Amanda is so dreamy! She colored the friends from our Porch Swing Friends Stamp Set, adding accents with a white gel pen. Then she layered the image over a gorgeous cloudy sky, created with our Clouds Stencil. For the square could layers she used our Frames Squared Die Set for the stitched and scalloped edges!
